Colin, your sense of humor is Wit

You put the pun in punch line and you're probably always listening for the next play on words because you have a witty sense of humor. With your finger on the pulse of what's happening, your mind never stops thinking of the next clever line.

You're an entertainer at heart and you try to keep your material as fresh as possible. There's nothing better than a little observational humor (unless someone else thinks of it first). The only problem with telling a good story is that it inevitably reminds another person of a dull one. Thank you folks, you've been great, good night.

___
Hmm oh yeah the story jokes that sometimes people don't get.

err... my name got into this one. Oh well I don't feel I have a need for censorship today.

Eric, your sense of humor is Sarcasm

Oh yeah, you're really funny. (Actually you are, but you're so sarcastic that it's hard to tell when you're joking.) You mean what you say, but almost never say exactly what you mean. In fact you usually say the exact opposite. For instance, if your friend is wearing an ugly watch, you might tell them, "I wanted a watch like that once, but I got the wrong Happy Meal." Yep, there's a slight edge to your humor, but all you are really doing is telling it like it is, only like it's not.

Im such i nerd, i laughed at the joke in the description. Needless to say, that is very accurate.

Ali, your sense of humor is Banter Like a king of pinball, you've made an art of playing off of people because your sense of humor is all about banter. Like many great comedians before you, a roundtable of friends, or a roomful of targets, is the catalyst for what makes you laugh. It brings out the wit — and sometimes the nitwit — in everyone.

Not very accurate but I sometimes do that.

Hap, your sense of humor is Banter

Like a king of pinball, you've made an art of playing off of people because your sense of humor is all about banter. Like many great comedians before you, a roundtable of friends, or a roomful of targets, is the catalyst for what makes you laugh. It brings out the wit — and sometimes the nitwit — in everyone.

It's quantity, not quality that matters as you and your friends alternate outbursts like the riffs of a hit single. Here's the bottom line: You're a social creature. Other people's inside jokes even strike you as funny. You manage to gravitate toward people who can appreciate a tall tale and you've probably never hesitated to fire off a zinger — even in a roomful of strangers. So keep it up with your bantering methods. Laughter, after all, keeps the world going 'round.

Well, that's about true, except for the social creature part.

My favorite humor is historical humor, but there are few who can really appreciate that. People have always been wacky, but it's easier to appreciate it when they're dead and gone, and a hell of a lot funnier. My favorite comedian is Eddie Izzard...

Heather, your sense of humor is Dark Humor

There are some things some people don't even talk about. But you somehow manage to make jokes about them. Your humor type is dark and you never met a topic that was too sacred. It's not that you're twisted (well, maybe a little); you just believe that laughter is the universal healer. There's always room to lighten the mood.

From broken hearts to broken limbs to death itself, you are willing to go where few others dare to venture. Whether you're watching Evil Dead 2 for the 58th time or whipping out another one of your morgue jokes, it's always refreshing for others to catch a glimpse through your cracked lens.

Your sense of humor is Satire
If there's one thing you're positive about it's that life is absurd. That's why your sense of humor centers around satire and farce. From social to political to religious, you see all of humanity's institutions as all too serious and totally hilarious because of it. Whether you're roasting the regulars at the coffee shop or going after bigger laughs inspired by newscasters, or dare we say, the President, your razor sharp wit cuts though the bologna. Just remember, when you lay the irony on thick, not everyone gets your humor. That's okay — if you can't laugh with someone, you can always laugh at them.

I guess that's pretty accurate. I also really like sarcasm and morbid humor, but I often don't bring it up in order to be tasteful. I suppose jokes relating to recent tragedies would be seen as inappropriate, so I rarely actually say what I am thinking.

Yeah, I thought "none of the above" for a lot of them, too. But:

Your sense of humor is Satire

If there's one thing you're positive about it's that life is absurd. That's why your sense of humor centers around satire and farce. From social to political to religious, you see all of humanity's institutions as all too serious and totally hilarious because of it. I find To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. to be a much better sense of humor test. "The 3 Variable Funny Test"

My Result for this one:
"The Idiot Savant" VULGAR | SPONTANEOUS | LIGHT

"You like things silly, immediate, and, above all, outrageous. Ixne on the subtle word play, more testicles on fire, please. People like you are the most likely to RECEIVE internet forwards--and also the most likely to save them in a special folder entitled 'HOLY SHIT'.

Because it's so easily appreciated, and often wacky and physical, your sense of humor never ceases to amuse your friends. Most realize that there's a sly intelligence and a knowing wink to your tastes. Your sense of humor could be called 'anti-pretentious'--but paradoxically enough, that indicates you're smarter than most. "

According to the test, my sense of humor is "satire," but I think the test niffer is more detailed and accurate. I scored the exact opposite of niffer:

Your Score: the Wit (52% dark, 19% spontaneous, 10% vulgar)
Your humor style: CLEAN | COMPLEX | DARK

You like things edgy, subtle, and smart. I guess that means you're probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean pretentious. You realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that the Simpsons' philosophy?--but rudeness for its own sake, 'gross-out' humor and most other things found in a fraternity leave you totally flat.

I guess you just have a more cerebral approach than most. You have the perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer.

Your sense of humor takes the most thought to appreciate, but it's also the best, in my opinion.

You probably loved the Office. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check it out here: To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Your humor has an intellectual, even conceptual slant to it. You're not pretentious, but you're not into what some would call 'low humor' either. You'll laugh at a good dirty joke, but you definitely prefer something clever to something moist.

You probably like well-thought-out pranks and/or spoofs and it's highly likely you've tried one of these things yourself. In a lot of ways, yours is the most entertaining type of humor because it's smart without being mean-spirited.
