I was thinking the other day about the MBTI and TV programmes and whether it has ever been mentioned on any, or whether it is too specific. I would imagine it might have been talked about on crime shows such as CSI, Law and Order, Cold Case or Murder in Mind where they try to get at the mindset of the perpetrator. I would be interested to know what treatment they gave it.
Anyone seen something like this?
[Mods: I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the 'entertainment/arts' section, if I was wrong, please move it!]

I have not seen any TV program discussing MBTI.
I did stumble across this article on INTJs and Psychopaths. The article discusses how to differentiate INTJs from Psychopaths. Here is a quote from that article:
"Last time we began the series on psychopaths. If you simply follow the checklist (below) you may have a poor scholarly, professor-type, the INTJ, by mistake. Although INTJs (Myers-Briggs personality Type profile) share some of the same characteristics as the psychopath, the appearance of shallow emotions and an idiosyncratic value system, especially as it applies to sexuality, they are not normally psychopaths. "

I've wondered about it since reading into MBTI more in depth, but I vaguely remember an episode from the first season of Prison Break spending five minutes discussing how the main character is an INTJ.
His role has been pretty paradigmatically INTJ through season 2, and most of season 3, but the few times I've taken a minute on a whim to look for confirmation that I was remembering the one episode right, I've always turned up empty-handed.

Learn his/her history, this is especially important in making a "diagnosis". You may want to ask for help from your psychologist or an ENFP. An ENFP is brilliantly perceptive and will spot a phony a mile off. Unfortunately, she will then fall in love and try to rescue him.
 That's good stuff.

The sexual thing, that is interesting. I thought when that was mentioned, they'd mention the asexuality thing, but I guess that's not a type thing..

I have not seen any TV program discussing MBTI.
There was a TV program that discuss each sixteen type, 30 minutes per type. It was made up of skits, personality discussion (including what each letter represents), dominant-secondary-inferior functions...and how to raise a child with that personality type. It was pretty fun and beneficial.

Yeah, that article I bumped into as well. I liked it. Similar, but still different.

Any more details? Perhaps a title or a link?
