View Full Version : Why do people suck?
Have you ever tried to stabilize your position in an extremely two sided situation by insisting on being neutral in it, to only discover that these(2)people are trying to gain your attention to their problem by saying very personal, and very confusing controversial statements!...Which forces you to be inclined to question them, and therefore become involved!...Why do people suck?...

Human behaviour 101... People always talk about and do what they want done to them in return...
You do not get involved in petty debates because you want to be left alone and hense prefer if they shut their mouths.
They say personal statements because they want you to open up and be personal to them.
Why does a person post this on a BBS? Because they want the opinions of others.
Why does a person answer on a BBS? Because I want my own problems solved :P
I think the thing about the situation is this: if they did leave you alone and you got what you wanted, how long would it be before you approached them and made your own brash statements?

Ah. There is a good method for that. It's call the 'Beethoven method', or the 'Edison method'. Whatever. Just the deaf method, tu comprends? Just repeatedly say: "I refused to get involved." or "I don't HEAR you!!". Either one works.
