I think a big contributing factor to this is the Danish hygge a constant coziness. Which can be accomplished with constant low levels of alcohol in the blood. :p

And what do I as a Swede think about this. That our "friends" the Danes came out as winners somewhere. I'm very pleased... *cough* *cough*

They may be right. All the Danes I speak to seem pretty happy with their country. Mostly because they are too busy thinking up Swedish jokes to consider Denmark. Clearly the Swedes need to put in more hours to counter with Danish jokes.

The best part of that story was the comment that "Danes have a right not to be talked to." I could so have been a Dane.
