Where is the i don't care option and about what places are you talking ;)

what? are you talking about my friend who let some woman shave his crotch? you KNOW this guy? don't let him touch you....

i'm not particularly hairy. i've seen men (and a few women) who looked like they could comb their arms...i don't think that'd be a lot of fun. i don't have an answer, cause i don't have a problem. i'm not hot on hairy women, though....

I don't want any, no. I like myself like I like my womens. Without depilation, I'm not one to have much body hair anyway, so it's not a problem.

I've got a bit of body hair and it doesn't really bother me. I'm not furry like a gorilla though.. I could understand some men getting frustrated with fur. Body hair is a iffy deal these days since a lot of women somehow think men should magically be hairless.

Shaving everything is a pain.. literally... Waxing.. What man wants to get waxed? I sure as hell don't.

Body hair extends and enhances my sense of touch as well as making me slightly more resistant to abrasion, I like my body hair.

I'm also not hairy enough to be stigmatized for it. If my back looked like a piece of carpet I'd probably hate having body hair.

Haha. Sort of like how I see advertisements for building muscle for guys and before they are hairy, and after they get ripped, their chest is as smooth as a cue ball...when you get ripped, your hair magically disappears! Riiiiight...

If there was a quick magical way to get rid of all my body hair, I would do it. But since there isn't I just let it hang;)

Most places like my arms and legs I don't care.. but other places it's kind of nice, and in others it's a hassle. So it's yes, no, maybe, and "who cares?" all at the same time. :P

In general it would be nicer to not have. But it's too much of an inconvenience to my time to remove.

I don't really care. I do with it whatever the girlfriend prefers.

So long as I don't have to do it more than once a week.

Not voting until a "don't really care" option is added.

Normal men do. Of course, in saying that I fully realise that body perception in the US, even among otherwise intelligent INTJ's, is heavily influenced by the dictates of the fashion industry, which as any fule kno is run by queers with boy fixations.

Frankly, to me, for a dude to shave any part of his anatomy apart from the face is just plain weird and wrong.

You completely missed shaving your face intentionally elicits certain responses by appearing partially pre-pubescent? Beyond such intent, doing so is just fashion.

I'm not a hairy person (half Asian), and I remove most of what I do have. I don't like hairy women either.

Arms, legs, chest hair all fall into normal to my mind. Its the guys with hair over their shoulders and backs that I would call hairy.

i do, but i also like getting rid of the groin and armpit hair regularly. they smell. otherwise, i like being a hairy shit. i'd hate to be a prissy girl-boy

i enjoy shaving my face. dunno why, it just seems fun.

I have hair over my shoulders and back. a lot of that started to grow there when i began lifting weights.

girls should be smooth. guys should be gruff, tuff and someone your mom just can't get enuff

Body hair is definitely important for the man, but too much is gross.

I'm a pretty hairy guy. I don't mind having it, simply because the effort required to remove it is more than what it's worth to me. If I had a reason to remove it perhaps I would.

I don't have a lot of body hair, but I wouldn't want to be really hairy. I think if I was one of those half-ape men, with hair on their back and chests I might shave it off. Luckily I'm not.

I don't like it when it grows where I cannot see it. On the other hand, pubic hair is fine.

Not a fan of hair but then I'm not naturally hairy. Still, I trim or shave most of what I have. In the summer I shave my legs, a habit I picked up when I was a cyclist. It's kind of nice, when you have leg hair nothing actually touches your leg, it touches your hair which then touches you leg. After you shave you have this new kind of skin sensation when things actually touch you.

Also in my experience, not all women like hairy guys. In fact in the last decade or so smooth guys have really gained acceptance with women.

I like it on my arms, legs and chest. I'd rather it be much thinner on my shoulders, upper arms, and stomach though. Non-existant on my back would be nice ;) . Takes away from muscle definition.

I think it would depend on whose body it was on and where it was located.

The term 'lots' is far too imprecise, I voted no based on my subjective interpretation, so take that how you will.

My legs and especially my arms are less hairy than it would seem for the average. For whatever reason most of hair is my stomach and chest. I could shave it and I have long ago, but it would only return, so I gave up. My brother got laser hair removal surgery on his chest for reasons beyond me. The only downside to it that I can think of it that it absorbs stinky sweat, but I shower at least once a day so its not a big one for me. Not sure if it keeps me warmer, but less time shaving is more time doing other stuff.

I'm with the guys that say "no."

I've tried several different temporary methods to remove body hair (I'm not to keen on the permanent ones... creepy), because I think nearly all body hair is just plain nasty. Then again, mine isn't all that attractive so maybe that adds to the hate. I'll keep it off, thanks.

I love body hair. I love my own body hair and I have always loved body hair on a man. I think it's very sexy. It used to always shock me like electroshock therapy that a lot of people didn't feel the same way.

I am pro manscaping.

The only place I allow hair to grow on my body is my head.

I don't shave everything else, but I do trim everything else (legs, arms, chest, unmentionables) with clippers.

Body hair is a holdover from days before central heat and air and modern, readily available clothing. All body hair is good for nowadays is trapping odor and moisture. Remind me again of the advantages of trapping odor and moisture? Yeah, didn't think so.

Are you serious?

Body hair is supposed to also contain pheromones and make you seductive to a possible sex partner.

Plus, it just looks really good on a man -- it gives him masculine characteristics (although, if his brain is kinda feminine, that may be overlooked...)

Manscaping needs to go under. Body hair is an added bonus -- carpeting and comfort for yours and another person's skin and soul.

Body hair just traps pheromones--along with other odors--it does not produce them. My pheromones are still available to other humans. With no body hair to get in the way, I can actually project my pheromones in a solid beam over great distances. You should try it some time.

If body hair is a bonus, then why do you trim your facial hair? Why don't you just let your furry face "comfort" another person's skin and soul?

I have a hard time growing facial hair well. Maybe I could, but on me, I just think it... doesn't look so well. Makes me feel kinda dirty and ugly.

But on other guys, YEAH! Comfort me, baby.

Waxing and shaving chest hair and arm hair sucks but damn if it doesn't bring out the definition and veins if you do body building. Shaving takes longer but beats the freaking pain of a wax job. If I was to get back into body building I probably wouldn't bother with ditching the hair again. PITA

I dislike lots of body hair, on either myself or females. I find it very unattractive, and keep it short.

I have a friend whose nickname amongst our group is 'wookie', and I'm sure you know why if you've ever watched Star Wars. He seems to like being hairy.

No.

Depends on the culture.

My lord.

Are you being funny?

I mean, we are. Literally.

Only thing separates us from other kinds of apes is that we're the only ones frantically trying to deny what we are.

ps. I like hairy lady legs and pits and I'm the one feels like a fetishist. Kiddie lovers!

I totally agree. For me, at least, hairy men seem much more masculine to me. I find that a huge turn-on.

I wouldn't want to have lots of body hair and for the most part I don't. The only significant upper body hair I have is forearms, pits and snail trail. On the other hand my lower body and facial hair is disproportionately 'dense', but I don't mind that so much. I don't wax or shave anything but do perform some selective trimming in a certain region.

What a bizzare question! Why would anyone like it? If you have it, it's more of a matter of just dealing with it. Do you really mean "Should guys be forced to shave their body hair"?
