Hello,

Spiritual Pragmatist, Early 20's. I enjoy healthy debate on anything as long as logic and reason are used and not just blind faith.

I know everything, I just can't remember it all.

I know nothing, so I have little problem remembering or forgetting, you should try it, saves a lot of time and trouble.

Welcome.

Oh, by the way, blind faith arguments are a favourite of mine, just because they piss off the other debater so...just to warn you! Its not whether you are right or wrong, or whether you win or lose it is the heightened blood pressure of the other party that is important...

Welcome ninjafury. I view pragmatism as a good trait. Especially when it comes to religion. Try to do your best as long as it seems practical, good philosophy. I tried to get into religion a little when younger but discovered the majority of the people spent way too much energy feeling guilty or self-righteous. I just always keep in mind with religions and the religious that the more someone talks, the more they can’t be trusted.

If you're referring to one of the essences of Buddha nature, then I can see where you are going with that statement :)

Anyways, enjoy your stay here and I hope you find something that interests you.

I have faith that it's all good. Greatness comes from your feelings deep down and once you look into their eyes you just know.

Well, I'm not so sure about the term "healthy," but there's plenty of debate around here. Welcome.

Spiritual Pragmatist, Early 20's.

Is that someone who's spiritually pragmatic or pragmatically spiritual?

Ah yes... I remember those years. I knew everything. As I floundered along in life, the more I learned, the more I realized how much I didn't know.

Welcome grasshopper. ;)

I know that everything which I conceive to have a notion of knowing is nothing more then a illusion to give my self a sense of control. Over my environment when in reality I have none what so ever but then again neither does any other being in this cosmos. so to every one sit back and enjoy the ride and cause as much chaos as you can for in the words of the sanest man i pose this question to the world....WHY SO SERIOUS?......HA HA HA

Welcome, ninjafury!

What, exactly, is a spiritual pragmatist?

Check out the forum reference guide here (http://intjforum.com/faq.php?faq=guide). It has a summary of what type of posting is, and is not, allowed/encouraged on the forum. I recommend looking at it to avoid ridicule, post deletion, and possible death.

If you're looking for more info than that, you can read almost everything you need to know about the forum here (http://intjforum.com/faq.php), and a few more miscellaneous questions about forum features are answered by this thread here (http://intjforum.com/showthread.php?t=11698).

If you have questions not covered by these links, or need help with some aspect of the forum, you can create a thread in the Support & Feedback section (http://intjforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=8), or contact one of the moderators on this list (http://intjforum.com/showgroups.php).

Please, continue to enjoy!

Ha, ha...Me too.

One thing I can't understand is people who like to argue based on blind faith.
