my sister made me watch a documentary entitled "zoo" and i'm just curious if there really is a possibilty that an egg cell and a sperm cell of different species would fertilize? what came into my mind was wolves and dogs but then they're of the same family tree... what about human-horse?
on the other hand... imo the movie is a visceral nightmare... XP and since i am currently working for psp, i get to screen some websites for visa/mastercard compliance and one of my colleagues happen to encounter beastial porn... they really do train animals to do it...

They have done it with human eggs and various other species. They die off. It can't usually occur naturally because of a protective covering on eggs that is only permeable by sperm of the same species. But they have injected sperm into eggs and created species hybrid embryos which then quickly expire. Some speculate that we could create a human and chimp hybrid because our DNA is so similar.

Yes good thing it doesn't work naturally, or the world would look Greek mythology.
Centaurs, Minotaurs, Satyrs...
Which would be very weird...
hmm actually...
the ancient Greeks were very innovative in math/science maybe some of them had innovative dirty minds. Afterall they have a god who goes around impregnating women too.
There are lots of examples the critical thing is number of chromsomes. Horse-Donkey for mules is hardly new. But there are many more exotics To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Sick as it might be, there's still a certain awesome-factor to it. ;)
