I like teen rom-coms like Drive Me Crazy & 10 Things I Hate About You. I actually enjoy taking my teenage daughter to the movies. I even enjoyed Twilight...

I caved in and watched the sequel to The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I don't know...I watched the first one so I figured, what the heck...
My goodness, that is very embarrassing.

Oh this is a long list... But I can only think of a few right now....
Mean Girls.... Not Another Teen Movie... Out Cold...
It's a TV show that is the most embarrassing for me though.... Hannah Montana...

This was the first one that came to mind for me. I had to be dragged out to see "Clueless" and ended up loving it. It was a precursor to a whole trend of comedies that are sarcastic/satirical but have a sweet heart to them.

I usually love spoof movies. They're great! I think Charlie Sheen has a knack for them.
BTW,
Clueless- when it was new
Bring It On- I thought it was a spoof the first time I saw it. (I still wonder.)

10 Things I Hate About You
*buries face in hands*
I have a fondness for teen flicks. Sue me.
I think the worst I ever watched was in college (yes COLLEGE) I had a certain fascination for the tweendom kingdom of the Olsen twins. So I've seen the majority of their same-plot-for everything straight-to-DVD movies.
Gah.

I liked:
Girl Interrupted
on a more general scene: I like anything with Angelina Jolie in it. And not just cuz of her knockers, I really like her acting.

People! Stop naming Dumb and Dumber, Clueless, and 10 Things I Hate About You!
Those are all really good movies/cult classics. FFS, Clueless was a near cultural phenomenon circa 1995. Dumb and Dumber is a great comedy. 10 Things I Hate About You is perhaps the pinnacle of the circa Y2K teen comedies.
You gotta post movies that you are legitimately EMBARASSED to like. Things that make people question your sexual preference or level of sanity. Movies that may trigger a PM from a poster who may have lost some respect for you as an authority figure on a certain topic. Movies that cause people to throw ad hominem attacks your way down the road. lol.
Alright I'm off my soapbox. Trying to think of more terrible movies I love...
EDIT: For example earlier I almost posted She's All That, but then realized it isn't embarassing enough. ;)

Really I did not know there were any rules to this thread other than it had to be embarrassing. WOW. How about Twilight, is that a legitimate choice my friend? Or is that not embarrassing enough. Oh and 10 Things I Hate About You, yeah never watched it but after googling it I would be pretty embarrassed to admit I liked that movie to.

I also like foreign martial arts movies (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Fearless, Hero) and some romantic comedies (How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Music and Lyrics).
If those aren't bad enough, how about The Cable Guy or Evan Almighty?

Then there's Two of a Kind (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.(1983_film)) with Olivia Newton John & John Travolta. Remember her single 'Twist of Fate' (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.) (you gotta be pretty old for this one)? It came from this movie. It was on tv about a month ago & I watched the whole thing, commercials & all.
Speaking of John Travolta, what about 'Look Who's Talking'?
And, speaking of babys, how about 'Three Men & a Baby'?
I loved them all...

There aren't any but I guess I'm suppose to be embarrassed about liking 1997 romance film The Titanic, I loved the parts when all the people were dying.
Maybe The Passion Of The Christ because it looks like one is a christian if they like that movie but I really just like it for the part where Jesus is tortured to death.
Oh, I know, I liked Cloverfield. . .for the most part. Other people hated that movie for stupid reasons. Most people's complaints about it were dumb and obviously memetic. It certainly wasn't great but it wasn't nearly as bad of a movie as it's made out to be. Or perhaps it was simply tolerable because of every scene containing Jessica Lucas.
Lost In Space because it had the mildly redeeming quality of (unfortunately only rarely) featuring Lacey Chabert. Everything else about the film sucked so I guess I do not really like it. The Bad Seed (original, not the one with Macaulay Culkin), pretty much anything with Jodelle Ferland or Dakota Fanning, especially now that she's. . .well, actually nothing can make up for the abhorrent quality of Push.
The Golden Compass starring Dakota Blue Richards was ok I guess
For some mysterious reason I kind of liked The Bridge To Terabithia, oh well, good ol AnnaSophia Robb. Strangely it feels as though I've seen it before the first time I actually saw it.
The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz
The Toxic Avenger
I absolutely love Legend, always have, I guess I'm suppose to be embarrassed about that.
I fear I might actually like Star Wars just a little
Final Fantasy: Legend Of The Crystals
Turok
The Fifth Element

The Notebook
I love alot of movies that people have listed here, I'm well known in my circle of friends for loving "horrible" movies.
But I think the most embarrassing movie I own is 'Anus Magillicutty'. I got it off of Amazon after seeing it pretty low on the IMDB Bottom 100.
Its basically half porn (half of the porn isn't even characters related to the movie), and the rest is about a guy named Anus trying to dispose of the dead body of a guy who tried to kill him. Oh, and a guy in a satan costume from a walmart is chasing after him.
Oh, and as a 23 year old male: Nancy Drew.

I wont lie...teen/college romantic comedies are a secret favourite of mine. Ex. 10 things I hate about you (although it is Shakespeare), Mean Girls...etc.
Stardust (not too embarrassing)
but it's a surprise to me that I quite like "Enchanted" after being forced to watch it.
Especially when I suppose it's just another stupid romantic Cinderella like animation from Disney. *head-desk*

I’m not quite sure if I’m embarrassed about:
- Moulin Rouge
- Down With Love
- 10 Things I Hate About You
- Star Wars, All 6 of ‘em (only cuz I get called an epic nerd when I admit that, but w/e, I’m Nerd-Core and there ain’t a thing anybody can do about it hehe)
- Lion King (yea, I’m too old but it’s soooo good!!!)
I’m pretty sure I should be embarrassed about, but I’m not:
- Thirteen Ghosts.. the newer one w/ Mathew Lillard
- Big Fish (alright, I admit it… I have a thing for Ewan Mcgregor)
- Napoleon Dynamite
- Cheesy Horror movies, everything from the awesomely 50’s ones like Frogs! To Hellraiser and Wishmaster
I’m virtually mortified to admit:
- Spice World…… yea…. I said it…. *hides face in shame*
- The Notebook (why do the hopelessly romantic movies move me so? why??!)
- Princess Diaries *is angry at her fingers for typing such heresy*
- The Spongebob Movie (lies, I tell you! Lies!)
- The Powerpuff Girls Movie (Gah!! oh come on, fingers! now you’re just making stuff up!!)

I'm with Chuck Klosterman on this kind of question: "[T]he only people who believe in some kind of universal taste—a consensual demarcation between what's artistically good and what's artistically bad—are insecure, uncreative elitists who need to use somebody else's art to validate their own limited worldview. It never matters what you like; what matters is why you like it." (The whole thing is at Esquire's website and it's really good.)
Okay, having gotten that off my chest...YEAH I've got guilty pleasures!
Spice World (you're not the only one, Coralaisly!)
Juwanna Mann (beat THAT for embarrassing!)
A League Of Their Own (can't stop watching it)

I like romcoms, even though i can generally tell you the story from the title.
I also like childrens animations: the incredibles, toy story, the lion king.
Not that I'm embarassed about the second genre - some of these films are really quite brilliant. Just the fact that I have watched The Incredibles with commentary about 3 times, and maybe 20 times without commentary, that is embarassing.

How about:

The Fountain (People seem to hate it but I kind of liked it)
Way of the Gun
The Swan Princess (Must have watched the VHS at least 30 times in college)
Shaolin Soccer (The non-subtitled version, didn't understand a word but you don't have to with Stephen Chow movies)
Waterboys (When the heck are they bringing this to DVD?? I have never laughed so hard at a movie before.)

The Swan Princess (Must have watched the VHS at least 30 times in college)

Stranger than fiction
It's not the movie itself but the way it encourages me to write. Goddamit. I don't watch it anymore, though, having the disc thrown away in the garbage can and all. Seriously. And yeah, I'm sort of a short story writer. A secret one, of course.

Major League 2.
Karate Kid Part III.
I wasn't too embarrased until I checked out Rotten Tomatoes. What can I say, the corny sequels and me get along.
I also enjoy(ed) watching Ten Things I Hate About You but I'm not particularly embarassed; it is (one of) the best films in the (admittedly poor) genre.
