The Support & Feedback forum is as good a place as any for a question like that.

It's better than "as good as any", HackerX. The support forum is here exactly for threads like that. That's generally what a 'support' forum would mean.
Well MintNut, what's the question?

I answered a poll question in a forum and then the person who started the poll sent me a private message asking why I responded to the poll as I did. So, can everyone see how you respond to polls? Or just the person who started the poll itself? I was under the impression a poll was anonymous. Thanks.

There are two types of polls. Anonymous and public. It is up to the member starting the poll to select which option to use. Public polls have a warning on them stating:
Be advised that this is a public poll: other users can see the choice(s) you selected.
If it does not have that warning, the poll is anonymous and nobody can see which options members selected.
