As like all great discoveries this one was but an accident spurred by urgency.
This coincides with my immortality research, the girl depicted in the article above had her liver replaced and the stem cells from that liver invaded her body and transmuted it to many of the traits of the donor.
Through my research I have deduced that this makes it possible for me to “create” what I will call “stems” or “seeds”. This will allow me to transpose my own genetic information on another vessel while allowing it to retain its overall consistency.
As diabolic and amoral as it sounds, this is theoretically possible to maintain my existence indefinitely by planting a “stem” into a new recipient once I reach a point of terminality. This seems to be an only temporary fix for my immortality but it will have to do until I can complete my ultimate research and learn ways to permanently maintain one body.
Assuming I can transplant my “soul” as it were into the new or next body I can maintain my thoughts and memories while overwriting the recipients. This might be a terrible process assuming I do not learn how to create “empty” vessels to transpose my “stems” into. Having a full body gel matrix readily available would be nice as I would only have to graft the stem onto the matrix and allow it to grow under carefully observed conditions.
Assuming stem cells allow one to assimilate otherwise incompatible genetic material I will be able to transpose myself onto almost anything with a working functioning body.
I feel like I’ am sounding more and more like Orochimaru, an antagonist from the anime manga series Naruto with his secretive and immoral practices. His goal is also immortality and ultimately his temporary solution is the same as the one I have come up with.
If this actually worked it would make it possible for me to transpose the “perfections” of other people’s genetics onto my own body, correcting problems and even improving my overall health. Essentially I could take from someone with “the world’s healthiest heart” a small portion of their tissue, mix it with stem cells and inject it.
This opens a wide variety of dangerous and frankly weird applications, assume for a moment you do this with eyes of a wolf. You gain their abilities of night vision and might even retain your ability to see in color.
Ultimately it says that one person can become an infection that will ultimately transpose him or herself on the recipient body. I’ am very interested in seeing exactly how this girl’s life continues, if her very being is not replaced by “his”.
For the moment I will let this discovery fester on the minds of our “scientists” and let them make their conclusion. ;D
