Not sure what all that means, but it seems pretty accurate. It's a little confusing how I've been confused as gay, yet I apparently have 98 percent masculinity and 0 percent feminity.

Actually, you do seem fairly concerned with appearances, from this vantage point - but I'd have to see you in another setting to be sure. Communities focused around a certain type of personality tend to cause members to play up their conforming traits and thoughts and suppress the ones that conflict. (Like when groups of T types claim not to have feelings or to listen to their feelings at all, to give an MBTI example.)

Are you sure about this. I thought the very definition stated whether you were man or woman.

The test is flawed in many ways. In this case it believes if you’re low on F then you're more male...

Although, guys that are F are at best "wet" though.... essentially their genes are a conduit for their offspring to be more feminized if they have daughters.

One thing I find interesting about my results is that I'm low on both masculinity and femininity. Though slightly higher on the masculinity. It kind of makes sense as I'm not a girly girl....I could be "guy-ish" however, I am female so then I should be lower on the male side. But I notice quite a few people here have high one or the other and low one or the other. respectively.

So am I a gender neutral female? So says the brain gender ID thing.....perhaps related?

The test said I am a reserved idealist. I am very high on confidence and masculinity (98 and I am a woman who has had two husbands and two children and thinks Gabriel Aubry is her ideal man). I am also high on agency, authoritarianism and earthy/imaginative. I am low on openness, extroversion, empathy, trust in others, femininity, spontaneity, attention to style, and aesthetic/functional. It said I am comfrotable in abstract thought, curious, comfortable with my decisions, successful, independent and my decisions are well thought-out. These are very true!

This test was fun.

About You - You are an Inventor
Your imagination, self-reliance, openness to new things, and appreciation for utility combine to make you an INVENTOR. You have the confidence to make your visions into reality, and you are willing to consider many alternatives to get that done.

The full spectrum of possibilities in the world intrigues you—you're not limited by pre-conceived notions of how things should be. Problem-solving is a specialty of yours, owing to your persistence, curiosity, and understanding of how things work.

Your vision allows you to identify what's missing from a given situation, and your creativity allows you to fill in the gaps. Your awareness of how things function gives you the ability to come up with new uses for common objects. Although understanding details is not difficult for you, you specialize in seeing the bigger picture and don't get caught up in specifics.

It is more interesting for you to pursue excitement than it is to get caught up in a routine. You tend to more proactive than reactive—you don't just wait for things to come to you.

If you want to be different:
Try applying your creativity to more artistic arenas, and letting your imagination take less practical forms.

How You Relate To Others - You are Respectful
Your reserved nature, understanding of the world, and faith in others make you RESPECTFUL.

You trust those around you to do the right thing, so you tend not to get involved in other people's affairs.

You have fewer friendships than some, but the relationships you do have are very meaningful and important to you. Your friends would describe you as laid-back and easy-going.

Your careful and practical observation of your environment has led you to understand that others' situations can be very complex. Because of this, you are slow to pass judgments on others, even if sometimes you can't see what it is about certain things that upsets them.

You tend to enjoy the world through ideas and reflection, which allows you to get a lot out of the time you spend alone. As someone who is calm and centered, you aren't likely to rush into things—this patience allows you to see many different perspectives and options.

If you want to be different:
Try letting your insight into the world and trust of others allow you to understand the feelings of those around you.

While you know how much can be learned from observing your world, remember that much of life can be lived by experiencing it, not just understanding it.

Accordingly, I am a Reserved Inventor. Seems to correlate strongly with INTPs and INTJs.

Reserved Inventor has INTP written all over it, Xenolar.

Both the men in my family fit the bill perfectly and are both INTPs.

I got Reserved Analyst. They're right on some stuff, but I don't trust how other stuff was graded. I'm aware that I have a fairly masculine personality for a woman, but I do have more than 0% femininity. :suspicious: It seems to have been entirely judged on style.

In Bosnia, I bet all the men would rate as uberfeminine, using that definition of femininity.

Don't tell Slatka I said so. *ducks*

Generous Creator, it says. It was all accurate enough, I like the "How to be different" part. Even though all the explanations seemed like me, in my own words I define myself as the ambitious realist.

funny how rationalizations can be different overall but the same in the details.

But I guess that's because I don't give a rat's backside of what people think about me

This can also be seen in my "Authoritarianism" which is 18. He he he.

Kinda reminds me of an old exam I failed some years back. I told the lecturer that I didn't care what she thought. I was right ... then I failed lol. But, she was an idiot. :p

Nope, it's something else.

[And also, that 0% only means you are the lowest scored, out of people who have taken the test, doesn't mean you have no femeninity. It's relative.]

For mine:

Attention to style 6 (six!)

The last time I took this, the results were eerily inaccurate. My biggest block was "very high trust," which is so much the opposite of how I actually am it's as if someone else had taken the test. But it's funny how different tests have different ideas about trust. This test had questions asking whether I thought other people acted with good intentions, which I do... but that doesn't mean I'd ever open up to them or let them borrow something.

My second biggest block was "very high masculinity," which might have been more accurate, but which still amused me since I am female and, sure, a T but not THAT masculine. I wear skirts! Sometimes!

I ended up with "respectful inventor."

Sounds like me except for

You don't spend a lot of time imagining how things could be different—you're well-grounded in the here-and-now.

Don't know how they got that, must have been because I like to vacation close to home.

Test seemed a lot more transparent than MBTI, though the ability to manipulate your answer on a sliding scale allows for more precision than yes/no.

Edited to add: 100% masculinity? I have no idea how that happened as I never answered in the most extreme option on any of them (yes, I'm male).

Edited again: Okay, now I see some other people got 100% masculinity too, I feel better.

I seem to be the only Generous Idealist here:

You are an Idealist

As an IDEALIST, you are distinctive for your integration of confidence, imagination, willingness to explore, and desire for competence over style.

You have a strong capacity to comprehend the inner workings of things, finding new ideas and innovative insights to feed your curious nature.

You are quite comfortable in the realm of abstract thought. You don't need a practical solution to every one of life's questions.

You are comfortable with the decisions you make in life. You don't need to second-guess yourself, or seek a lot of opinions before you make up your mind.

You enjoy the routines that you have created in your life, and don't feel the need to shake things up just for the sake of change.

You generally succeed at what you do, and others would describe you as successful.

It is important to you that products be efficient – looking good has to come second to working well.

You aren't the kind of person who needs to collect stylish items in an attempt to create an attractive environment – you know that what matters most is function, not style.

You are balanced in your approach to problem-solving, not letting your emotions hold you up.

You do your own thing when it comes to clothing, guided more by practical concerns than by other people's notions of style.

If you want to be different:

You take time to explore your own thoughts and ideas, but this experience would only be heightened if you opened yourself up even more to others' ideas.

Your faith in yourself and your lifestyle is well-founded, but the occasional foray into the unknown might broaden your perspective and help you see things differently.

how you relate to others
You are Generous

Your awareness of those around you, along with your nuanced perceptions of the world at large, makes you the GENEROUS person that you are.

You value time to yourself and understand how rich your private world can be—you know that you don't have to go wild to have a good time.

You are excited and energized by ideas and often enjoy things more through observation than through experience.

This tendency gives you an appreciation for different perspectives and opinions about the world.

Being as aware of others as you are doesn't mean you find it easy to trust them immediately—this is something that happens more slowly for you.

Despite this, you are aware of the complexities of many situations and are reluctant to pass judgments on others.

Although you have fewer friendships than some people, those that you have are meaningful and are important to you.

You value spending time alone—it is while reflecting on the world around you that you often learn something new about yourself or begin to understand something that's been bothering you.

If you want to be different:

Given how attuned you are to others' thoughts and feelings, you might find that trusting people more is a way to broaden your perspective even further.

While you know how much can be learned from observing the world around you, remember that much of life can be lived by experiencing it, not just by understanding it.

I'm surprised that my Confidence and Empathy aren't a bit higher.

A person's Openness can frequently be determined by extrinsic factors rather than natural preferences. For example, I would ordinarily be quite happy in pursuing "new experiences," but because I am chronically ill, it is often not advisable for me to do so.

I'll join the chorus in bemoaning the stereotypical nature accorded to Masculine and Feminine traits. I am guessing also that the number of women who mention scoring unusually high in "masculine" traits may be seeing a manifestation of their INTJ personality type, given that it supposedly only occurs in around .5% of the female population.

Cautious Visionary

About you: You are a Visionary

Your imagination, self-assuredness, and knowledge of the world combine to make you a VISIONARY.

You have clear notions of how things could be, and the confidence to try to make them that way.

You enjoy having a routine, and prefer comfort and familiarity to risk and adventure.

Not needing others' approval to forge ahead, you are confident in your designs for the future.

Your imagination allows you to envision the world as a better place.

You're better at thinking of the big picture than you are with details, and you can see wonder in abstract things.

Style and appearances are important to you, and you have a good eye for beauty.

You are somewhat rigid in your beliefs, which comes from both confidence and an aversion to change.

You are good at creating works of art in forms with which you're familiar.

You are balanced in your approach to problem-solving, not letting your emotions hold you up.

You prefer to have time to plan for things, feeling better with a schedule than with keeping plans up in the air until the last minute.

You have a strong sense of style and value your personal presentation - friends may even seek your style advice from time to time.

Generally, you believe that you control your life, and that external forces only play a limited role in determining what happens to you.

If you want to be different:

Appreciate the earthly, functional elements of things.

Your clarity of vision sometimes prevents you from being open to new ideas. Try expanding your horizon of experiences, and experimenting with novel ways of doing things.

How you relate to others: You are Cautious

Being independent, practical, and somewhat guarded with others makes you CAUTIOUS.

You tend to keep to yourself, wary of trusting others with personal information.

The values that you hold are central to your identity—you are a very principled person.

You have respect for the natural order of things, and a good sense of right and wrong.

Investigating the world through observation, as opposed to interaction, is preferable to you.

You have an appreciation for those who have attained a certain level of accomplishment, particularly the rare few who have succeeded honestly.

You are efficient—when you work with others, you get down to business, and fulfill your obligations.

You sometimes wish that others would be more like you—less hindered by their emotions, more respectful, and more private.

If you want to be different:

Finding a few close others whom you can trust will allow you to express yourself more openly, and possibly to learn more about yourself.

Whoa, be careful, there.

I'm the third Cautious Thinker. (I think I'm the third. Don't quote me on that, though.)

Extroversion: 4 (That seems a little too high to me)
Empathy: 8

Masculinity: 88
Femininity: 0 (Yep, I'm all man. scratch, belch)
Spontaneity: 34
Attention to style: 20
Authoritarianism: 78 (This seems high to me. Although I am always right, people are free to disagree with me and be wrong if that's what they want.)

Reading these answers I see a high diversity of Personal DNA types among all INTJs. It would seem that the two tests are very minimally correlated, if at all.

I got generous experiencer, and it seems to fit from the description. At first, when I got the title of the type, I said "wha...?" because it seemed counter-intuitive to me. But when I read the description, it made sense.

In particular, the description of "generous" seemed to fit "introvert". And the description of "experiencer" fits me well, too, especially the part about how "experiences are more important to you than objects—you'd rather spend your money and energy on events and adventures than on material things." Yep. that's me.

Here's the breakdown:
Confidence: 14
Openness: 72
Extroversion: 6
Empathy: 56
Trust in others: 50
Agency: 74
Masculinity: 16
Femininity: 0 (huh? I'm a woman. Go figure.)
Spontaneity: 42
Attention to style: 8
Authoritarianism: 60
Earthy/imaginative: 30 (imaginative)
Aesthetic/functional: 26 (functional)

Again, sliders and boxy things are just too subjective for my tastes... I mean, how do you determine where to put that dam thing....

Your careful and practical observation of your environment has led you to understand that others' situations can be very complex.

Because of this, you are slow to pass judgments on others, even if sometimes you can't see what it is about certain things that upsets them.

This is half true. The more of these personality thingies I take, the more I think this stuff is all BS, designed to stick us in our little boxes so we can all think we're this way or that way. Its simply craptacular!

Agency

How much you believe you determine your own outcomes. High means you believe that you have control over your life. Low means you believe that other factors—such as chance, fate, and powerful others—influence your life.

You are a free-wheeling analyst.

Confidence 98
Masculinity 100
Femininity 2

(I cut out two things below that didn't make sense. I don't like routines, and although I'm grounded, I do spend time thinking about how things could be different because I like figuring out whether I can improve them.)

Your attention to detail, confidence, sense of order, and focus on functionality combine to make you an ANALYST.

You are very curious about how things work, delving into the mechanics behind things.

Along those lines, how well something works is usually more important to you than what it looks like.

You find beauty and wonder mainly in concrete, functional, earthly things.

You are very aware of your own abilities, and you believe that you will find the best way of doing things.

Accordingly, problems do not intimidate you, as you believe in yourself.

You trust yourself to find solutions within the boundaries of your knowledge.

Your charismatic nature, liveliness, and independence make you free-wheeling.

You take a practical approach to people, not getting too involved in their feelings—or their business.

At the same time, your acceptance of others leads you to be understanding of their life circumstances, even if you don't quite understand their emotional reactions to some things.

Although you have a wide circle of friends, you're very discerning as to whom you can trust.

You're not rigid in your beliefs about the world, and you don't want to impose your perspective on others, but at the same time, you know that plenty of people don't always act responsibly.

Engaging with others is a large part of how you live in the world, and most importantly, it plays a role in how you see yourself—you tend to learn a lot about yourself in situations where you are with other people.

You have an understanding of the complexities of situations, and you don't judge others too hastily.

Your independent streak and masculine nature allow you to make decisions efficiently and to trust your instincts

You approach problems in an analytical way, not getting caught up in your own emotions. You are an independent thinker, not wedded to the preferences of others.

Your sense of adventure is supreme - you're up for anything, anytime. Making plans in advance isn't necessary for you: you'd rather figure things out on the go.

The control you feel over your life is empowering to you-- you believe in your abilities and acknowledge your shortcomings. Explanations of the world that focus on destiny or fate don't really interest you. You take responsibility for what goes wrong in your life, and also for what goes well.

OK, curiosity got the best of me. Here's some totals for your viewing enjoyment. And, no, I didn't do this all by hand. I entered them into a spreadsheet and then used Access do the slicing and dicing. I know, it's still sad.

Also, for the first half or so, I was only including NTs. The second half I decided it was taking too long to check. So, if you're not in here and you're not an NT, that's why.

"You are a Free-Wheeling Builder.

You are detail-oriented, cautious, and practical, making you a BUILDER.
You are excellent at focusing on the concrete, functional elements of things, so you're good at making things happen.
Pursuing novel ways of doing things helps you to be efficient.

You're great to have on a team, as you understand how things work and don't let your ego get in the way.
You're perceptive, down-to-earth, and realistic.
You don't see a need to commit to a set routine or schedule—you'd rather improvise a little.

Although you may doubt yourself sometimes, you have the skills and the curiosity to pursue broader adventures.
You like to consider a lot of information before making big decisions, and you think about that information in realistic, thorough ways.

You don't concern yourself with flashy styles or surface appearances—you're far too sensible for that.
You're not afraid to let your emotions guide you, and you're generally considerate of others' feelings as well.
You prefer to have time to plan for things, feeling better with a schedule than with keeping plans up in the air until the last minute.
You do your own thing when it comes to clothing, guided more by practical concerns than by other people's notions of style.

If you want to be different:

Think more abstractly about things without abandoning your valuable sensibility.

how you relate to others

You are Free-Wheeling
Your charismatic nature, liveliness, and independence make you FREE-WHEELING.
You don't mind being in the spotlight, preferring social gatherings to quiet nights at home.

You have an understanding of the complexities of situations, and you don't judge others too hastily.

If you want to be different:

Your open-mindedness about the world gives you a great perspective on things, but your lack of trust in others limits how close you can get with them. Try opening up to people a bit more without losing your healthy skepticism.

While being the life of the party will occasionally come naturally to you, be sure to reserve time for yourself—see what you can learn by spending some time observing the world rather than just by diving in."

I dont think this is at all correct with regard to the social aspects, though some of the perception stuff is bang on. Might have to take this one again I think!

Don’t think anyone really reads this thread or others like it, I mean this is the two hundredth post since October and frankly I’d worry about anyone who has the time to do that, I’d expect most people would read the first two words of a few posts, nod slightly without registering what was written then either close the page or go to post no. 1 and do the test. I’ll use this opportunity to blab since I’m pretty sure it will go unnoticed, well I’m not really concerned about anything and I don’t usually make reservations so I must be apathetic, I also couldn’t be bothered doing the test or posting a normal result so I must be nonconformist. Actually after some thought I think the validity of my statements depend entirely on the next poster, if they ignore then I’m in the clear. I hope they ignore. Or maybe it's just my apathy that thinks this way in which case I'm right no matter what happens.

This test is one of the more accurate internet tests I've come across. It's pegged the manly thing I've got going on. I'm very straight-forward for a fragile looking girly and it scares people. Probably has something to do with all those years I spent as an air cadet and the fact that I almost joined the army. It's also got the feminine side pegged too (average amount of femaleness). In short, I like to blow shit up and paint my nails pink.

I took this test on facebook, so it's harder to x-fer the results over.

I find it interesting how different the scores can be among INTJs for "trust in others" and "authority" .. granted I think my "trust in others" score is too high just because I happen to think most people in the United States act with good intentions, at least until their hormones get in the way. Clearly there are some INTJs here that would have no problem being dictators, while others want to "live and let live" .. interesting.

I scored "considerate idealist" but in my opinion "considerate" is taking it too far and I'm more in line with "respectful" .. probably gonna have to take this test again a few times to get an average score.
