Here is perhaps the Ultimate Online Test.
Fine, perhaps I was exaggerating, but it is still quite a good test:

all these geek tests are more biased towards computer geeks. the science knowledge made me geekier + some computer geekiness. it just isn't a major part of my geekiness. I just know that probably realistically I'm geekier than the test says due to my wide variety of scientific geekiness.

Total geek, ~25... I didn't think I'd score this high, but the test caught me on a whole bunch of stuff I'd forgotten I knew/did. Or didn't think would be on a test like this. Yes, I have read Russian literature outside of class. And the computer stuff, my God. I confess, I have altered registry files, written shareware, written a regular expression parser, I know what RAM and ROM stand for. And THAC0. Scary.

I was robbed!
Not only do I own two Rubik's cubes, I have a small collection of Rubik-like puzzles.
Not nearly enough questions about Monty Python. No reference to Young Frankenstein, or Dr. Who. Nothing about reverse Polish notation calculators. No mention of stick shift cars. I still own a laptop that runs DOS (not the one I'm using at the moment, but still). I find pedigree analysis and quantitative genetics restful. I've called authors of scientific papers published in refereed journals to which I subscribe in order to point out holes in their methodology and conclusions. I've walked through selection of dependent variables with colleagues who didn't realize that linear regression makes life so much easier. I've read Immunology Today, for fun.
And I think I deserve extra credit for owning a centrifuge.
Maybe even more credit for having very few of my clients realize how much of a geek I am because I can "pass"...
(I'm going to have my boyfriend take this test but predict that he's going to cheat in order to ensure that he scores higher.)
