I was reading through some of the books because i want to run a game, and if you've played the game, you know that the creeds (character classes) are based personal philosophy and personality. i usually played the Visionary, because that is the one i'm most compatible with. they are basically INTPs. Which in the end there is not much a difference between living in your head and being directionlessly lost in your head so it was workable.
There was a however a similar creed added later in the expansion called the wayward, that was essentially an INTJ that had explosive violent tendencies and was usually a racist. They make it perfectly clear that a Wayward has to be a psychotic murderer. it bothered me a little bit.
They describe them as people with vision and scope, that are willing to devote everything to their own life philosophy. they are masterful planners, and system builders with an air of independence and self reliance. i was pretty satisfied at this point. Then they add in so many words, "unfortunately the strain of responsiblity, and insight, causes their minds to fracture, and they develop an uncontrollabe urge to blow up hospitals and eat babies." what the fuck?
