I'm doing a series of avatar tutorials (http://intjforum.com/tags.php?tag=avatar+tutorials) with detailed instructions on resizing and getting the proper file size. I made a tutorial for Paint.net here (http://intjforum.com/showthread.php?t=19842) and LionsPride made a tutorial for Microsoft Picture Manager here (http://intjforum.com/showthread.php?t=17830). I will be making tutorials for Photoshop and Gimp next. If anyone has suggestions for other graphic software, please let me know.
