Heh, I'm glad you posted this, clearly you rule... I saw that gif with the smilies bowing, years ago, and have always wanted to find it again, and now you've posted it!

Those german girls must be superhuman strong. She has tiny arms yet is able to lift that huge glass.

When presented with half a barrel of beer I dont attempt to lift it to my mouth, I find a smaller glass and fill it. Perhaps this idea hasnt made it to Germany yet. Would I be able to make money by introducing the idea of the small glass to Germany?

When I was in the service, I was stationed in a little place called Wildflecken,.It sat below the Kreuzberg Kloster, a monastery that supported itself by brewing some of the best hefeweisen you ever touched your lips to. We had what we called the ten liter club. You had to drink ten liters at a single sitting, no time limit, you just could not leave. I made it on the second attempt. You'd think it was no problem until liter four, then the first liter came up and tried to ambush you from behind. less than ten percent ever made the club. Germany is a lovely nation, and I highly recommend a visit.

Does going to the bathroom count as leaving? Heh.
That would REALLY be a challenge if you actually have to hold all that. I've drunk about 3 pitchers in a night before, over a long time, with food.. at a wedding reception. That would count for about six liters or so, if you don't count going to the bathroom. I think I could possibly do 10, I was still able to walk after it was over. :laugh:

And those glasses in the pic have to be at LEAST one liter, maybe closer to two, depending on how big/small those ladies are and how thick that glass is.

Ah yes, this is taking me back 17-odd years to my visit to Munchen and other European destinations, where I consumed copious amounts of beer at the Hofbrauhaus; being reminded somewhat ghoulishly of Hitler's frequenting of that place, and witnessing the famous frauleins bearing three engraved metal steins on each arm. Those were the days....*sigh*
