Possibly weird question, but does anyone else here tend to find another persons obsessive/compulsive habits attractive in some way? Or that they are attributes which increase the persons attractiveness?

I'd find it cute, as long as they do not seem unhealthy. Too much and it's an immediate worry for me.

Well, yeah. I guess too much of anything like that could be bad.

How do you decide what the threshold is for 'too much' obsessiveness? And does it matter what kinds of things they are being obsessive about?

lol I'd rather not set a benchmark because I honestly don't want to think about it. To me, it does matter what kind of things they are obsessive about. No offense to all if any are taken, but I personally don't find it cute if they are obsessed about sex, death and/or the worst of human kind.

I was talking about OCD habits, arranging things a certain way, 'compartment eating', etc, not things that have inherent connotations (death, sex, etc.)

^I sincerely hope people find them 'cute', because if they don't I'm doomed to a very lonely life indeed >__>

I think you are in luck, two out of four other people in this thread aside from yourself have confirmed it, (myself having implied it by making the thread)

Not bad odds, IMO.

To me, the threshold is the same for all other human behaviours: When they start harming others, or harming themselves, whether it is from action or inaction, it becomes unhealthy and dangerous. And no, I don't care what they're obsessing about, as long as they don't cross that threshold.

Or that they are attributes which increase the persons attractiveness?I think it would depend on what it was. It would have to be something that wouldn't drive me crazy. I can conceive that some OCD traits could be seen as attractive by someone. I used to have a friend who would say to me, "You're not picky, you just know what you want." So I guess she wasn't bothered by my obsessiveness. She was an ISFJ.
