Well, I'm a bit interested in the night sky. But here in Denmark it always so damn cloudy. However, when it is clear and you want to explore the night sky, Stellarium is a great tool, and it looks awesome!

Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope. You can zoom in on the stars, planets and galaxies.
It is being used in planetarium projectors. Just set your coordinates and watch the sky over your town.

Here are some of the features in Stellarium 0.82:

* over 120,000 stars from the Hipparcos catalogue with info
* asterisms and illustrations of the constellations
* images of nebulae
* realistic Milky Way
* very realistic atmosphere, sunrise and sunset
* the planets and their satellites
