Do you have one?

yes, but its probably more comparable to a loss of interest or frustration at lack of progress.

Progression and complexity are key.

Nothing wrong with that.
I get the same way. (and this wasn't because of that video, directly, though it did make me think to make this poll in a roundabout way I guess.)

Sorta but it's more because I bridge ideas to one another and seem to "jump" from topic to topic rather than focusing completely on one idea.

Yes, if it's something I'm not interested in. If I am interested, however, I concentrate for hours at a time.

 do you ever notice that you sometimes seem to have several thoughts at the same time? Like how people have a 'train of thought?'

I can have multiple 'trains of thought' of varying speeds, sizes, and length... that just tells me what to do when i lose interest in something

Heh, that reminds me when I was put in therapy/counseling for 'ADD' (which was a pretty new thing at the time, over 20 years ago)
And we talked about having a one track mind, and I said "I don't have a one track mind, I have a train yard."

If something is interesting and tickles my fancy I can concentrate quite well for a limited time (couple of hours). Although hardly enything that does not demand my 100% attention has a danger of "day dreaming" insertion.

Try racing bikes for a hobby - now that is one thing you cannot alow yourself to have a short attention span :)

If I find something really interesting or worthwhile, I can be engrossed for hours or even days... but with some other things it's hard to even acknowledge them for even one minute.

Hahaha. It depends. I can have a short attention span to instructions. My mom once asked me to do something, and with a turn of my head, I forgot it :D I just said: Ok. And next moment: ...What? I have a long attention span to meaningful lectures that my teachers give and I note down everything insightful in their speech, but if they are repetitive or aren't making much of a point at all, I fall asleep. Perfectly human reaction to boredom  I also have a very long span for something I find interesting or 'worthy' (I know, who am I to judge). I can be on the same subject for hours or days.

Yes and no. I usually get obsessed with one thing or another and it holds my attention for a few weeks/months, after that I find something new. Usually if something is boring to me, I can't concentrate for more than 10 minutes.

Yup, but I think the distinction between lack of attention and being bored is, if you can pay attention well, you can endure it even if you are bored.

Like others, I can pay attention to something I'm interested in for hours at a time, but if I'm bored....well.... What few classes of chemistry I went to this semester I spent staring at the prof lecturing but I was a million miles away (I already knew the material).

Yes, I have a short attention span and I have even tried taking herbal supplements to increase my concentration.

I have a terrible attention span for classes. However I have a good attention span when communicating with a small group of people on an interesting subject and if there is something I come to enjoy I can immerse myself in the subject.

I have very good focus, but the topic must be useful. When working on a long-term project, I can think of nothing else and want to think of nothing else. I eat, sleep, and dream the most insignificant project.

Haha, that's me at times... get bored almost before it starts.
