I'm not sure if it's the same character. I think you are thinking of this one, which isn't currently being used by the person I made it for.

Yes, that's the one I was thinking of. I don't know if it's the same guy, but the blades look awfully similar.

They're different. Mine is Edge from Final Fantasy 4. I don't know if that weapon in the other avatar is a windmill shuriken though.

Here, I found the original image, rather than enlarging the one you have, and so made a crisper version of it. Up to you if you care enough to switch, though.
