I haven't been able to figure out how the Insert Hyperlink function works.
On another board I frequent, I highlight the words that I want to be the name of the link.
Then, when I click Insert Hyperlink,
a small window pops up where I am supposed to paste the hyperlink.
It doesn't work like that here,
and I am unfamiliar with any other methods.

Would you please tell me how to do it?

This is usually unnecessary! The forum automatically links urls, so if you don't care about naming your link you usually don't have to use the code.

To name the link, write it like this: INTJ Forum (http://intjforum.com/)
Result: INTJ Forum (http://intjforum.com/)

The second option is the one I was trying to accomplish.
My problem is trying to remember that the next time I want to use it!
I'll have to write it down.
