Study and practice, work a bit past your boundaries. Not too far past, but build it up gradually, exercise it like muscles, as if you were training for running. Read some expressive things and understand the language used, then try doing some of your own writing, or speaking, and work to do it better than you normally would if you just wrote it casually, and you should find yourself naturally improving over time.

is it always the case that musically intelligent people has to have beautiful voice? in music for instance, can you not call musically intelligent a mute who plays the piano pretty well like mozart? it's not fair. and so does other questions in the multiple intelligence test thingy. if there's one accurate way to measure art, music, kinaesthetic intelligence that is performance... but then the test would be expensive...

i guess they have to reformat the test questions...

I'll take it later (PSATs this morning :yuck: ) but for now I'll just point out that multiple intelligence "theory" as it is known to most people is crap. There was research that indicated that there are multiple distinct components to intelligence, but multiple intelligence "theory" twisted it nearly beyond recognition.

I got too lazy to write it. I'm suprised that I scored better in Visual than Linguistic.

EDIT: I mean, just look at the pic. The circle is not centered (and I noticed that just now, when posting this also to LJ, after uploading to Photobucket). That's clearly because I don't pay that much attention to pics, whereas I rarely let a misspelling pass unchecked... (although today I spend a good time looking through a book of maps, out of boredom, trying to locate places I knew, and am kind of good with them...)

EDIT2: ... and I can hardly see an INTJ not getting a perfect "myself smart" score. I mean, if there's something we know better than the other types, is our strengths and weaknesses...

The reason I can (and did rate) myself less than 'perfect' on Intrapersonal (and other) questions was because I don't think of that question as 'opposed' to other people but as opposed to Perfection itself, and as I don't have perfect knowledge of anything or anyone, a perfect score is (really) impossible.

In the 1980s I took a general psych class and the professor described someone's model; the someone was 'Janis' or something like that (but not 'the' Janis) and it the model was a mirror, four panes, which as I recall was reflected like this:

What we and everyone knows about us
What everyone knows but us about ourselves
What we know about ourselves that no one else knows
What we and no one else know about ourselves

Something like that. The last pane was the 'blind' pane, and I acknowledged, respected and reflected it by scoring less than Perfect in all areas of this test.

I agree. The test really doesn't tell us anything about "intelligence". If anything it's more about thinking patterns and general psychology, which they tried to constrain to irrelevant categories. Some of the questions also tried to derive conclusions implicitly (I don't remember any questions that dealt directly with kinesthetics, but there were tons that dealt with logic/how things work/that sort of thing)
