Is it easy to get around? Anything in the template 'not look right'? Thoughts on the board subjects so far?

So far, so good. Get the recent posts thing to say something like "Since your last visit, there are X new posts." Time to try an avatar.

Excellent idea, making the recent post feature better is definitely a feature I would like to improve soon!

Oh shoot, here I was going to try quoting you, and I realized you already quoted me. No matter! Not much feedback, the layout is clean and easy to follow, so good job on that.

That's ok because I also wanted to test double quoting... and triple quoting.

Thanks, that's what I was going for with the layout. I like clean and functional (I may add a dark template to my to do list though).

Black background, but keep the...whatever shade of purple this is. Or not. Good idea, though. I cannot believe we are having a separate conversation on your forums.

Unless I'm blind, the only way to know you have messages, and subsequently get to your inbox (barring email notification on the former), is to click on the digit in the phrase "you have 1 personal messages" or whatever. I think there should be a button or a link to Inbox, possibly along the top.

The Recycle Bin is visible to me...should that be turned off?

I just had a great idea: read things before unchecking them [smiley=idea.gif]

Nonsense. Where is your sense of adventure?

I am also wondering if it's possible to put the Home/Help/etc row of buttons at the bottom of the page, as when I finish reading new posts, I have to scroll back up to click on Home - yeah, I can use the INTJ Forum link but I like buttons. Sue me.

I don't really find having only 10 posts per page very user friendly. It could just be because I come from places where a page is 25 posts, but I always find myself clicking all when I just want to see the newest posts just in case I want to go back and cross-reference, but as some of these threads are reacing 40+ posts, it's kind of becoming a bit unwieldy.

I don't know what anyone else thinks, though. Just relating my personal experience with the current settings!

Jon, that was the default but I went ahead and changed it to 20. I'm not sure how the other members feel about it, but I have no problem with changing it to 25 if there is demand.

Hah, chalk that one up to not paying enough attention. I retract my criticism! I guess I can learn to make do, even though it seems so short. Maybe we just all talk too much, but in a good way.

It's no biggie, I actually prefer a lot of posts per page myself and changing the default isn't a big deal. I made a poll here: http://intjforum.com/YaBB.pl?num=1191306390/0#0
