I read that they're talking of a biopic already. If so, Donald Sutherland would be perfect for that. Agree?
If not, who else would?

of whom are you speaking and what in satan's name is a biopic.

I wouldn't have taken you much more time to just look it up yourself than it did to type out that question.

Biopic: A biographical film, like Walk The Line, Ali, Raging Bull, and Ray.
Josef Fritzel: That guy who imprisoned his daughter in a basement for years, and repeatedly raped her, fathering 7 children. C'mon, his trial has been all over the news recently, and the story itself has been all over the news since last year.
Donald Sutherland: The first actor who came to mind when I read that a biopic of Fritzel was in the talks. He's much more famous in his native Canada than he may be elsewhere, but I've seen him in a few movies where he's played some twisted characters. Look him up on IMDb, he even looks like Fritzel.

Great choice! They might have to beef him up a little first though.

I can definitely see it - they have the same eyebrows. Donald Sutherland has always set my creep-meter off!
Added benefit - for "flashback" scenes of Fritzl in his younger days, Donald's son Kiefer could play that role. :)

Wherever you came up with this idea? LOL Seriously you are dead on. They look like twins. And Sutherland does have what it takes to play the monster. I saw a movie many years ago where he actually... oh I better stop. He did what it is required in this biography you talk about. Very strong movie, I hated him ever since.

I just wonder who on earth would want to learn more about Joseph Fritzl?
I guess so, though it may corrupt my love for his role as Mr. Bennett!

Jeremy Irons is always good when you need a creepy character, but he doesn't look as much like Fritzl as does Sutherland.
