Does anyone have any firm knowledge of Codex Alimentarius? If so, I would be grateful for some insight.

You mean more insight than what Google (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.) can provide ?
From 30 seconds of browsing it looks like another outreach of the Corporatocracy - see Confessions of an Economic Hitman.
BUT if you want to be into the bowels of the beast ... find their funding sources.

There's a video on Google called Nutricide (few years old now), and the speaker runs a website on the subject at To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. :)

I was looking for someone who was involved or close to someone else who was involved.

From Health Freedom USA:
U.S. Government Illegally Supports Codex
The U.S. Codex Office (the U.S. Codex “point of contact”) is unfortunately highly supportive of Codex. So is the rest of the government, including the pharmaceutical-friendly FDA. They should not be. DSHEA and other U.S. law means their support is in direct violation of the laws of the U.S.A.! They are breaking our laws and they know it.
Sounds like business as usual (BAU)
Good Luck if you are trying to affect change.

FWIW
Conspiracy Morsels (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.): Are tomatos or carrots food supplements ?
The title seems to be, ot the surface, nonsensical. But if big pharmaceuticals had their way, they would be available only on prescription. You think I am kidding?
...
In fact, if my task was to make sure that no one is taking any concerns about Codex Alimentarius seriously, I'd do exactly that--linking it with a hodge podge of conspiracy rumors, so it all sounds pretty much nutty from the get go.
What is then a plausible scenario that may be close to actual truth?
That is the question and that is the direction of research I'll be taking in the next while. I'll be posting updates here as soon as time allows

Source: Natural News (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.), I checked this link and it says the article has been removed.
Your right to eat healthy food and use supplements of your choice is rapidly vanishing, but every effort has been made to keep you in the dark about the coming nutricide. Codex Alimentarius is scheduled for full global implementation on December 31, 2009, and not a word has been spoken in main stream media about this threat to humanity. Yet, according to the projections of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), a minimum of 3 billion people will die from the Codex mandated vitamin and mineral guideline alone. As the clock ticks toward this irrevocable deadline, the Natural Solutions Foundation (NSF) and its medical director, Dr. Rima Laibow, are feverishly working to change Codex guidelines.

I wonder who gets to name those things. That name looks like it came straight out of a crazy conspiracy theory, yet its the official name of the damned thing.
