Anyone know of musicians whose work is uplifting such as some Outkast? they don't have to be popular, I just want to listen to music that will get me in a good happy mood. It helps if they are silly or make you feel silly, can be old or new.

Hmm... I've got a few you might like:

Born To Run - K-Os: To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. (The last minute isn't happy-sounding, but it's just an acoustic redux of the same song, that happens to be on the same track)
One Week - Barenaked Ladies: To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

I find it very difficult to listen to any of those songs and not end up in a good mood. :)

Odd kinds of music can make me happy, but here's a few you could try:
Andy McKee - Drifting (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.) Pretty much anything by him works for me, though.
Jason Mraz - I'm Yours (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.)
The Cirque du Soleil - Alegria (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.) It's very... grand, but it never fails to cheer me up.
Ingrid Michaelson - You and I (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.)

I created a playlist on youtube for myself with this same idea in mind. Here is the results, the most uplifting and energizing songs I could come up with (most of them are 80's/90's though).

Haha Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun would be uplifting for INTP types I believe, but other personalities would probably perceive it as a downer song.

In the same vein as Outkast, I would say:
Gnarls Barkley
MF DOOM (specifically, the Danger Doom collab with Danger Mouse)
(This all feels fairly obvious to me, so you've probably already been there?)
