View Full Version : A google problem
Hi.
I'm wondering if anyone is having problems accessing to Google lately (since march 20th).
Cause it doesn't work for me most of the time and when it does it surely takes its time and it's only with the google's website and fonctionnalities the other sites work just fine.
So I wanna know if something's the matter with my connection or is it everybody's problem cause I didn't find any article about it on the net.
Thanks for replying.

It works fine for me. That's odd. I hope you figure out a solution.

I've been using it fine.
Try updating your browser or doing a system restore back to before the 20th.

"Problems with google"?
I don't think you need to go so far as to do a system restore :|
Just disconnect/reconnect your internet and let yourself get a new DNS server. If you still have problems after that, it's probably ISP related.

try pinging it in the cmd console. it might be a browser problem.
If not... the end is nigh :scared:

Is it timing out, or declining to show the page?

You could use a meta-search engine like To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.) or To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.) - both of which incorporate Google and many other search engines into results.
Try this if you're using Windows: Start-Run-cmd [enter]. Type {tracert To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.) [enter]} without parentheses and paste the results back here.
Make sure to edit out your home IP address (This information is on the top of the information returned to you by the {tracert} command) before pasting.
In all likelihood you have a spyware infection and/or DNS problems.
EDIT: If you're concerned about security and don't really know what you're doing then disregard this. PM me instead with the full tracert output and I'll tell you what's going on. Don't worry, I don't bite! Used to do this kind of thing for a living.
