Reading this forum one question came into my mind: Are there any studies about the MBTI of the parents/ancestors and that of their children? I could imagine, that there should be specific clusters of MBTI-father + MBTI-mother = set_of_possibilities_for_child_n{MBTI-n-x1%,MBTI-n-x2%,...,MBTI-n-x16%} where the sum of those x1-x16 is of course 100%.
i mean can we say e.g. father is INTJ and mother ENTP, what MBTIs the child will (most) probably have and what (most) probably not?
And don't tell me "all outcomes for all combinations are equal". This answer cannot
be true so I want an quantitative answer not a qualitative one. ;)

edit: hmm. THe question is probably out of range for the possibilities of a poll, but we could simply carry data together in this thread. So if you know your parents MBTI, something like a raw ENTJ(father) + ESTJ(mother) -> INTJ(child1), INTP(child2) would help, maybe we find some correlations.
