I think it would be ethically wrong to help the fat and ugly ones while encouraging the cute ones to die - that's messing with natural selection.

Yes. It's called "Conflict of interests". But it depends on whether you have an ethical system to begin with.

It would be a bother to have those kinds of hobbies. It would require way too much effort for whatever pleasure you're supposedly getting from it, and so they seem pretty lame in that sense.

I don't really get ethics anyways.
