I'm considering importing Drizabones to Singapore. Since Singapore is constantly getting monsoon rains it'd make sense. Most places sell these awesome items at 400-500 dollars, where I can get them for 150. A sale at 250 makes enough profit for tax, import, wage and growth.

The only problem with such an arrangement is that you'd need someone on the other end. What do you think? does anyone here have suggestions?

This sort of thing is covered by license agreements. You would have to contact Drizabone, and see if they have a distributor or a rep for Singapore. It's entirely possible that they already have some sort of agreement for the area, which would exclude you (Exclusive rights are pretty standard) or they may not want to do business with Singapore, There may be a thousand reasons for this. I once overheard a conversation while working where a machine parts manufacturer from NSW refused to do business with Indonesia because he was convinced they would invade Australia when their population pressures go too bad. it's a weird world.

Humid in Singapore. Do you think a Drizabone will sell well there? Mine does not breathe very well.

Good point, Linseed oil waterproofed Cloaks might work better. Bright colours of course.

bro, i'm from singapore. my 2 cents is to not import (you're local too?) them.
Googled the website, and it's raincoats?

Culture here doesn't seem to fancy raincoats. it's freakin' monsoon season here, and i aint seen anyone with a raincoat. but tt's just MHO. =)

No freakin raincoats is just freaking stupid. :(

I'm making the cloaks and will be selling them in darwin. I think I will sell them to the people in singapore who do not value culture
