Did anyone catch this? If so, did you enjoy it?
I just got a chance to watch it on my DVR, and I've got to say I loved it. It's a modern day telling of the biblical David v. Goliath, with quite a bit of poetic license. I'm not particularly religious (or, at all... but that's not the point), and I still really enjoyed the Pilot. It's slow to pick up, but if the writers are left to run with this, I think it could turn out very well.
Anyone else seen it?

Sorry if this is considered reviving an old thread.
I too have enjoyed Kings so far. I am not religious either, but I like how King Silas recognizes God but isn't bound by religion. I cracked up at the egg/evolution speech. I also wonder if King Silas is an INTJ? He seems very determined, always has at least one plan, intelligent, aloof and although he appears as a public person, he is very internal.
I think I read somewhere that at least 13 episodes where being made so we will have at least one season of it. I really think we could get into some good political subterfuge and human interrelationships going on if it can continue.
My favorite line to quote from the show is "We give up what we want when we want power".

I just saw it after reading this post... rushed over to NBC.com and checked it out. I love this show. The speech David gave to the opposing military when his brother died was moving. I want more! lol Oh and if anyone knows where I can get like a transcript or something, I wanna know that speech, kinda reminded me of the King Henry the what ever number speech written by shakespeare. the band of brothers speach... it was moving.

I am not exactly sure where you could find that speech. I bet if you googled "Kings Forum" you could find something. Also Tv.com is a good place to find something like that.

I've got it Tivo'd, if you remind me I'll skim through it tomorrow and try to make a transcript.
