You know, I've been very seriously considering joining a dragonboat team for a few years now, but I always have too much on my plate to fit in practices and competitions...

I love it. I am not much of a team player so i'll never join a dragonboat team. However I have a kayak in queensland and when I lived there I was constantly getting in an going on an overnight trip. Only reason I do not do that here is because of the crocodiles.

It's the greatest sport because it's one of those where you do not have to compete against someone to make it challenging. You're competing against yourself, and getting to see some very beautiful untouched wilderness.

Taking a canoe out on the lake is probably my favorite summer activity. Paddling across the lake, finding isolated bays, and fishing 'til dark. Great fun. The best part of camping, really.
