Ok, So I'm a huge fan of the movie the Boondock Saints. It is perhaps my favorite movie of all time, and in my personal, horribly Irish slanted opinion an awesome movie. I was wondering if;
A. There were any other Boondock Saint fans out there?
B. If you've seen the movie whether or not you agree with what the Saints were doing? Just curious to see where people draw the line.
C. Anything else you want to discuss, or just simply reply with random quotes from the movie.

My avatar probably answers the first question. ;D
I agree with what they were doing in principle, however, I think they need a more concrete way of regulating who they kill and who they don't. Killing members of the mafia is fine, but I think they went a little far when they let Rocco shoot those two random guys who were in the other booths at the strip joint. I mean, it's not the most respectable pastime, but does going to a strip club to be a voyeur really hurt anyone?
Hmm, random quotes...
"I can't believe that just fucking happened!"
"...Is it dead?"

"Who needs your f***ing rope?"
I've found that people either love this movie or they hate it. You just have to let go & lose yourself in it. Don't try to pass judgement, just enjoy it for what it is, entertainment. Because it certainly is no cinematic masterpiece, but it is definitely entertaining.
This movie is worth watching for Willem Dafoe alone. That guy creeps me out like no one else. I love it! The scene with the cat is about the funniest thing I've ever seen. And the accents! It's just a must-see movie.
"You look like Mush-Mouth from Fat Albert"
"Cuddle? What a fag."
"I am Ivan Checkov, and you will be closing now." Then, "Checkov? Well, this here's McCoy. We find a Spock, we got us an away team."
"I can't buy a pack of smokes without running into 9 guys you've fucked!"
I could quote this movie all day...

One of my favorites.
"Make like a tree and get the f-f-uck out of here!"
"Hey, Doc. I got to buy you like a proverb book or something. This mix 'n' match shit's got to go."

My absolute favorite movie!
I am a little indifferent when it comes to the whole theme of the movie... You just have to understand I can't even kill bugs. :(
"These guys are miles away by now, but if you wanna beat your head against a wall, then here's what you're looking for: they're scared, like two little bunny rabbits. Anything in a uniform or flashing blue lights is gonna spook 'em, okay? So the only thing we can do is put a potato on a string and drag it through South Boston, 'Thanks for coming out!'"
"You'd probably have better luck with a beer."
"Aye, you would."
They are working on a second one......

That would be All Saints Day. It's in post-production at the moment. I can hardly wait. :)

Great flick. Willem Dafoe is hilarious in it.

I love that movie. Now that I read this, I might watch it again tonight.
I can't say that two hot Irish guys killing evil doers has anything wrong with it, and Rocco breaking up with his girlfriend was gold.
I killed your cat, you druggie bitch.
Oh, and..
Hey fuck ass, give me a beer!

Such a brilliant movie, I wish I had a quote to add, perhaps I need to watch it again.
Willem Dafoe, brilliant as always, the two Irish boys, well they're just dead sexy aren't they? And Billy Connolly, well he was just perfect.
Ripping out the toilet....amazing. While it certainly was a film about vigilante justice, the love between the brothers and ultimately the father as well was just profoundly touching.
A must see movie for all.

Unfortunately the film lost me at the very first scene. I later watched the extended "Rule of Thumb" dialog and it did make sense. The cuts however make it seem hurried, juvenile even clumsy. The suspension of disbelief was instantly broken. I spent the remainder of the film in hyper-critical mode and ruined it for not only myself, but my then girlfriend.

I agree William Defoe was amazing.
My favorite quote; "Well that certainly illustrates the diversity of the word."
And when it comes to what they were doing, I don't disagree with Rocco shooting those guys in the strip joint, if you follow the dialogue closely you find out that they're not just guys going there to jerk off but 'scum bags'.

And those two Irish guys as they have been called are played by Norman Reedus who plays Murphy McManus, the dark haired one and Sean Patrick Flannery who plays Connor McManus the light haired one.

In regards to All Saints Day, they keep pushing back the date of release but they have finished production on it so it should be soon.

Granted the film is not best quality but you have to realize that the Writer/Director/Producer Troy Duffy was working with a very, let me stress very, limited budget and the story was not supposed to be overly complicated.

"Well, 'Name one thing you're gonna need this stupid fucking rope for.'"
"That was way easier than I thought."
"Aye."
"You know, on TV you always got that guy that jumps over the sofa."
"And then you gotta shoot at him for ten fucking minutes, too."
"Aye."
"Christ."
"We're good."
"Yes, we are."
