Just a notion that occurred to me, though it's been in the back of my mind for about a year. (This is an anonymous poll)

I wonder if we're going to get a higher proportion of longer-ring-finger women than one might expect...

It's a theory I've been tossing around for over a year. Also, left-handedness is believed to be linked to prenatal alcohol exposure. Alcohol raises estrogen levels, but I'm also wondering if the prenatal exposure (in moderation) to alcohol might cause an inverse effect and raise testosterone levels... in effect creating your NT nympho.

So I can blame my mother for making me a left-handed ENTJ female that loves sex?? Sweet!

My ring and forefinger are the same. Maybe that's why I didn't give a rip about sex until I was older. Or it could just be the hormones. ;D

Hmm, left-handedness has a genetic component as well. Funny random thing -- I'm the daughter of a left-sided person and a right-sided person, and I exhibit mixed laterality. That is to say -- my mother is left-handed and left-eyed, my father is right-handed and right-eyed, and I am right-handed and left-eyed. And possibly left-footed, but I'm not entirely clear on how one determines footedness. Where is the data on prenatal alcohol exposure affecting handedness? It certainly has a profound effect on the frontal lobes, and I wouldn't be surprised if brain damage could cause pathological left-handedness, but do you see these effects in any less than significant FAS?

I'm a college student, but they're all questions I'd like to answer myself. Interesting shit. (Pseudoscience my ass)

Well, I'm interested because I don't remember seeing a connection between prenatal alcohol exposure and left-handedness, and a quick eyeballing doesn't turn up a study. Have you seen one, or are you speculating? It probably hasn't been studied much.

Being as I'm one of those female people with an apparently testosterone-influenced digit ratio and a galloping herd of traits that tend toward the more-typically-masculine, I find looking at the subject to be quite fascinating. I don't know though if a forum poll is sensitive enough to say anything conclusive.

Think it might be in one of my physiology/psychology books. I'll check tonight.

Predictor algorithms on maximum; invoke subroutine female orgasm.
And the answer is: "I am a male and just want to see the results."

The poll also assumes a certain level of well...activity in order to make a *relative* judgment of frequent vs infrequent. We're a good majority INTJ here...

Like I would have no idea on that question.
