I would have loved to use the avatar that I created and have used for many years on other forums.

I am curious as to why the restriction on animated avatars?

Here (http://intjforum.com/showpost.php?p=18998&postcount=1) is the rationale. All the avatar rules are in place to maximize the readability of the forum.

I didn't make this one, however it is pretty cool and certainly worth posting...

I didn't make the rules, but I can certainly guess at to the reason.
This forum isn't about pretty avatars. The function of the avatar here is to help you identify people. Animated avatars add an unnecessary distraction.

Us INTJs are good a focusing and are not the types to be distracted by pretty avatars. If we were, you would still be admiring my stunning avatar. ;D Back to browsing the avatar forum I go...
PS - I must admit though that I find Synamon's avatar to be a very sexy distraction... and that's even considering that I am seriously biased towards brunettes.

Sometimes I like animated avatars, and I don't personally find them distracting but the uniformity of it is fine, plus I guess animated ones slow down our interwebs.
Anyway, I agree about Sue Lyon ;). . .you won't immediately know what I mean.

I do now :) although I admit I didn't connect the face with Lolita. Is it wrong?
