Haha, he's 50 something, cut him some slack! He's old but at least he's never compromised (well, any more than he had to to begin his career at Sire) himself and still says whatever he wants.

YES! (but most people bag me that it's daggy...LOL)
He's got to be one of my favourite crooners...I saw another 50yr old perform over 20 years past his heyday recently and DAMN! Don't assume that just cos they're old they don't still have great vocal chords!!!

Love love love The Smiths!
(I also rather enjoy Pixies)
Yeah, I like The Smiths: Miserable Lie, Unhappy Birthday, and Big Mouth Strikes Again.

Oh yes, oh yes. What a combination, Morrissey-Marr. The Queen is Dead was the defining album for one period of my life. Went to see them once - turned out it was their last concert.

Maybe is my favourite band, in my country (Spain) to like the Smiths was more or less like to be a martian, but now I live in London and they are much more present here... I wasn't lucky enough to see them live because I discovered them more or less when they split but I've seen Morrissey... last time like a couple of years ago in Benicassim and he wasn't a dad, I assure you! For example the Pixies are much more 'granpas' now... even if they are my second top band too, Josephine :)

Morrissey's Everyday Is Like Sunday is one of my favourite songs. There are others I like but this one is really special.
