So, about a year ago I went on a binge trying to fill up my "liquor cabinet." *Just believing I as an adult should be able to offer anyone who comes over a drink, I felt the need to grow up. *Ideally, no matter what someone would request I would be able to meet that person's desires.
At first I was buying a bottle a month. *Even though I'm not much of a drinker, I wanted respectable brands that I could enjoy myself should ever I so desire. *In other words, not something cheap just to say I have it like Smirnoff and not something trendy like how Sky Vodka was 10 years ago. *I also wasn't looking for the stuff that's so top shelf Big Bird has to break out the step ladder to get to it. *I'm not blowing half my rent money on some Pitron Platinum just so I just so I can freak out watching some drunk-assed guests dump half a bottle in some Del Monte Margarita Mix, ya dig.
Whether it was some typical-to-type, lose interest in a project or more enticing alternatives to my discretionary income, I haven't purchased a bottle in quite some time. *I'll try to remember what I have off the top of my head...No, it's not that I'm too lazy to get up to go look I just don't believe I'd remember what I have by the time I'd get back (but yeah too lazy to write everything down), could you tell me what you think I should purchase next?
I have vodka, gin, tequila, triple sec, dry vermouth, Kentucky bourbon, rum and...I guess that's it. *I would think a decent single malt Scotch would be in order. *I'd been putting it off since the first time I got drunk was off of Johnny Walker Red and well, we've never been boys since. *Any NT rationale expressed in selection would be greatly appreciated. *It could be, "chicks dig Martini & Rossi" or "Did you know you can lower your cholesterol by drinking everclear?" *"Vampires won't attack if you've been drinking jagger," that would be fine.
Don't assume I know all the nicknames. *Like I know Black Label and that's about it. *And please refrain from wine or beer selections. *
Thank you.
