Something I came across while looking on another forum.
It's explained here, and they even have a commercial.

Apparently it's just somewhere you go to find people to have sex with. I haven't deeply investigated it because I think it's gross, but I'm wondering what you all think since many here are into that whole casual sex scene.

*starts singing*
"No more lonely nights for me, this is how it's gonna be..."
There are plenty of sites like that.
Personally, I think it sounds like a really good way to get an STD, as is any kind of anonymous sex.
I'm no prude, but I wouldn't be into that at all.

Apparently one of the other sites like this got bought out for a big chunk of change, but they might go bankrupt because the buyout was heavily leveraged. Point: these sites make a good chunk of change. This isn't very relevant, but its interesting how many people have to use them to make them that financially attractive.

IMO those sites should be more organized, maybe they can create a national non-profit organization, and every member registered is required to do a medical screening for STD every 3 months or so like blood donor clinics...so people can spend their less lonely nights worry-free.

This is the free version of escorting. Is it any safer?
No I wouldn't.
This reminds me, I read the newspaper today to read about a man who had a bad casual sex encounter on a 1 night stand. He woke up with her name carved into his back with a knife, and her name wasn't Anne, it was Dominique, the longest scar ever.

Isn't this what Myspace and Facebook are almost always used for?
I doubt many worthwhile women would be looking for sex or relationships on the internet.

I don't know, are they?
Well, I suppose I should've asked this too.
Do you think this stuff is good? Good for society on the whole?
