Where would be the best place for them?

When you say Net Cafe, does that mean we would all physically be at the Cafe but still be chatting over IM? If so, then that and the library would be a good place--we could all go elsewhere from there. If not, then Net Cafe doesn't fit the notion of meet-up at it usually connotates physical appearance of some-sort. Also, I choose purple : )

It would be fun if we could see each other when we were IMing so we could point and laugh and give weird looks when someone typed something x )

A Net Café is the only logical choice. That way we can claim to be together (and pretend normalcy), while protecting our hermit tendencies and keep each other outside of our personal spaces. It will also remove the awkwardness of true interpersonal communication.

I thought a library would be nice where we could all walk around silently pointing books out and giving our nods while others sat in the corner reading ^)^

Why don't we schedule something? I believe several forum members are near me (Vancouver Washington), and I'd love to get together and chat with a bunch of like-minded folks!

Library. Strategically, the best place to meet. Large bookshelves that gives us cover in case things go wrong, a topic to talk about at a hand's reach, lack of environmental noise and annoying people, and finally, the aura of knowledge that resides there.

Cons: Won't be able to speak too loudly.

Museum... libraries are too quiet for heavy discussion and it's not like they could both read separate copies of the same thing.

I belong to a board that is composed of 90% INTJs. We have an annual meetup. We usually start at a restaurant, and then go to one of the member's residences, and sometimes end up in a pub in the evening. Oh, with hikes and tourist stuff mixed in.
