what if hannibal lecter finds himself in a jigsaw trap, will he overcome the challenges and eat the jigsaw's liver with red wine?

Jigsaw might be able to capture, torture and kill Lecter (as was demonstrated by Mason Verger), but he'll never outwit or out-mindfuck him. As long as Jigsaw has left an opportunity for escape and hasn't impaired Lecter's state of mind with drugs, I'm quite sure he'd pull it off. Would it be a good movie? Lord no. Can the Saw series touch Silence? Please.

(In any event, both series have turned into milking cows. They can never just leave a thing alone once it is done.)

A lot of Jigsaw's victims fail to escape because they panic and are unable to think clearly, or unable to bring themselves to mutilate themselves or other people in order to escape, if I recall correctly. Wasn't there that instance where Hannibal Lecter strangled a nurse to death and his heart rate remained constant throughout? I think Lecter would certainly be able to overcome panic and revulsion if escape was a strong priority for him.

Cut to the blonde girl half sitting on the floor, chained and bloodstained. It is Britney Spears. She pathetically attempts to act afraid for a few moments. By this time the audience are thinking to themselves ‘For fucksake… I’d have been better going to see Space Buddies after all!’

Cut to a close up of Britney Spears hands, struggling uselessly against the manacles that bind her wrists. Cut to an extreme close up of her face, pitifully conveying the emotion of thirst.

SFX: A sinister noise!

Cut to the shadows on the other side of the room. Something is moving there. Cut back to an extreme close up of Britney Spears. She is panting wildly. Audience members who have seen something like this before on Youtube will hopefully decide to stay in their seats.

Cut to the shadows on the other side of the room. An arm, with a blue sleeve, is clawing its way free from something. It is also clutching a walking stick and a colostomy bag. The sound of chains can be heard rattling. Someone is emerging from the darkness. It is Hannibal Lector. He doesn’t look best pleased. Cut to an extreme close up of Britney Spears.

BRITNEY SPEARS:

Aiiieeeeee! Ew! Sorry. For a minute there I thought you were that horrible old man on that island!

HANNIBAL LECTOR:

You think I’m who?

BRITNEY SPEARS:

You know! That guy who kills polar bears!

Lecter has the ability to move at super speed and strength , being able to finish listening to music, feather the skin off the arms of a guard, draw out his intestines, tie the 200 lb. guard eight feet up to iron bars without a ladder, carve off another guard's face for use as a mask, get into his uniform, and play dead in 10-15 minutes.

I don't think I've seen nearly enough of either to decide, but Lecter vs. Jigsaw would be amazing. I remember the first time seeing Saw, I had heard about Jigsaw and what a crazy kickass INTJ he was. (That's also how I was first drawn in into the Hannibal series) Anyway, toward the end I was thinking, this Jigsaw character seems pretty retarded and I was disappointed until the real Jigsaw appeared. I was just NO WAY and he has had a place in my heart ever since. Lecter is cool too. So civilized and quite a killer to boot.

As I recall, he bit off her tongue, but didn't kill her. But yes, his heart rate barely changed.

For the topic, I'd say that if it was an escapable real trap Hannibal would have owned it.

Sorry this might be off topic but Jigsaw only grabs people who do not value their own life.

Hannibal would have the upper hand because he's willing to do anything and has no inhibitions. Jigsaw simply does not encounter many people like that in his "work".
