I just listened to a BBC interview of Howard Stern on their website and somehow I find he makes a lot of sense and appeals to a certain INTJ streak in me, a certain irreverance/disregard for authority and self-belief in the face of overwhelming opposition, while saying what's on his mind and telling it like it is. The only other person who could make me laugh and think hard at the same time like that is Jon Stewart of The Daily Show, but he isn't nearly as crude ;D
Whaddya'll reckon?

Howard is fine. He's really crude, but I appreciate his bluntness and self-depricating humor. I don't think a majority of INTJ's like him. lol. I'm sure some do, but most probably don't.
Jon Stewart!? ETo view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. can't stand to watch 1 minute of either his show or Colbert's. They give me an icky feeling. :)

Not sure Stern is INTJ. Not sure he's anything but T. I'd type him esTp if forced to.

While I appreciate is "fly in the face of authority" stance on many things, I just can't stomach some of his methods. I don't watch (or listen to) him much, he just rubs me the wrong way sometimes.

I think the idea is that he appeals to the creepy old pervert in all of us.

I'd say that's a pretty fair bet. ESTP or possibly a very light EnTP would be my guess.

I'm not a big fan of Howard Stern. If I want crude but funny stuff I'm going to South Park. :P

Howard Stern = Radio for STP to enjoy and SFJ to be outraged by. Annoying static to most everyone else.
Anyone remember the Greaseman? I always hear about Howard Stern, but the Greaseman was by far more outrageous.

Eww. What makes you think Howard Stern is an ENTP?
Do you think you could intuitively connect with him?
Do you think he thinks with Ne?
I don't. Blech. :yuck:

I'd just like to point out that I have no creepy, old, pervert inside of me thanks. I'm the exception.

love Jon Stewart. Stern just bores me, though. drudging through the endless palaver to find the tender and juicy bits just takes too much effort with him.

While I don't find all of his content particularly meaningful, I like the fact that he has the guts to "stick it to the man" and do his thing, never mind the fact that he's the most-fined broadcaster ever in the FCC's books.
As for whether he's ENTP or whatever I don't really care, I don't even think MBTI should be used to try and understand/characterise people other than yourself but that's another story altogether.
Still, it's interesting to note the responses to the mention of his name ;D
