PS3 and Ubuntu/YDL?

I'm sure some of yous guys have run across the whole 'Linux on the PS3' experience. I'm curious to know about frequent issues you've run into while configuring your favorite Linux distro on the console.

I don't run it, but I've read plenty of times the terribleness of switching from Linux to the PS3 OS. Remember, the Linux one can't be a PS3 and a PC OS at the same time... :(

Also, the installation looks painful and you can't even access the good graphics chip (the stupidly-named "RSX (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.)" because it's under a hypervisor.
