Looks like my shotgun, crowbar, and antisocial tendencies could come in handy someday. I've got a 77% chance of survival.

You Have a 63% Chance of Survival!
It's because I'm broke as shit and don't own a gun or have any food in my house, haha.
You Have a 56% Chance of Survival!
That's sad...
Looks like I have to get a gun license, a gun, learn to be an expert gunman and how to make homemade explosives without wicked chemicals.
I don't understand why being spooked easily means you have a smaller chance of surviving. It usually means a faster reaction time. Being spooked doesn't mean you can't stay calm in emergency situations...

But it can mean you will make a scream to attract more Zombies, Rei.
And I have a 78% chance of surviving! Woot!

60%, I don't know how to make explosives and I don't own any gun (and never used one), zombies might eat my ellbows before they get me. :(

I don't scream... I may squeal quietly, but I don't scream =(

63% percent of surviving.
I don't own any guns, and I'm in OK shape.
I thought my cold-blooded nature and godly survival instinct would help me achieve a high score. Damn.

I can't currently run and I live in a large, crowded urban area. *sigh* it would be crawling with zoombies. :( Sorry folks, but in the time of zoombies, someone else is gonna be a zoombie until they prove otherwise, I have seen enough horror movies!

You don't have to run all that fast, just faster than someone else you're with. :)
I scored a 60% because I don't own any guns and might attempt to help another person while still looking out for myself first.
But I do know how to make molotov cocktails and a few other explosives and I do know how to use a gun (a little).

Zombies do tend to shuffle along slowly, what with tripping on their own decaying flesh and all, huh? (Or am I thinking of mummies?)
I knew that in the any end of the world disaster there would be mutants to deal with, but I had not previously given a lot of thought to the potiential zombie situation. :stunned:
In response to this thread I'm going to learn how to fire and purchase a hand gun :D

57% - mostly because I don't own a gun, don't have a storehouse of non-perishables (too many greedy family members), and am out of shape. Fix those and those damned zombies don't stand a chance!

Do what? Fifty-two percent? Sure, I have the same problems as some others (not a lot of food, not in the best shape, don't know enough about weaponry), but come on! Sure, helping other people out might mean picking a zombie up, but other humans can be useful meat shields or have decent zombie-killing skills. oh well.

My point exactly.
For that "noise" question I answered I'd call out and wait for an answer.
It's always a good idea to have another person around... even if he/she is dumb, they can still watch your back up to some degree =/

Well, no, I would agree that you can only trust yourself, whether you're up against zombies or not, but you could always just help people out and trust yourself to kill them if they turn undead. No problems. It is usually easy to tell when someone is about to turn undead. Never trust that they haven't already been bitten. Always expect for anyone to turn at the worst moment. Seems simple, to myself. Also, for the noise thing, I went with the, "Hand on the trigger while waiting silently," option. Noises could attract more zombies. If it's a person, he'll either get eaten or eventually reveal himself to be a person.

I just think if it was a person and I'd locked the doors... it'd be pretty cruel to just leave him/her out there.

Yeah, but if you make noise, you'll alert the zombies to your location. If it is an actual non-infected human out there, making noise will draw the zombies to where you are, and they won't have anywhere to hide. Better for you both to be quiet.

92% I scored a little low because I believe in safety in numbers. It gives the zombies other targets. And in Shaigars homey little fortress I suggest you man the walls if I tell you two. I have a rank and a castle and everything.
Shaigar, BTW ,I accept.I'll take the job.

Garn. Looks as if I'll still be the first to die. oh well. Zombies are the horror type monster that is number two (vampires are number one, since they're horrifyingly popular) on my list of scary things, so mayhaps my fear will paralyze me too much. I'll be sure to bite the next I. N. T. J. in line, though.

But I love zombie movies, live in Montana, was in the military, and worked at a gun range for a year. Give me a .22 and a couple thousand rounds (easily carried) and I can take care of myself. I say bring it on.
Drinking + Online quizzes to avoid writing a paper = fun
Full kevlar body armor, like an imperial storm trooper from star wars. Makes you immune to zombie bites. Charge them with an ice pick in each hand recalling what happened to Leon Trotsky.
All this gun stuff shooting from a distance is no fun. It got to be hands on zombie wrestling.

I probably got a lower score because I would be willing to try and help strangers. Any extra man with a gun or a bat, is more hands to beat down zombies! However, I would shoot, or bash any individual who was a zombie. Loved ones are not so loved when they are coming for your brains!

Shooting is lots of fun. And what would happen if they bore your down and tore off said armor. Pistols are go but 400meters is better. Remote I.E.D.s are better still. Always be prepared.

I would run to Galyan's . . .
Huge gun section, a golf section just full of zombie-killine instruments, and plenty of large objects (there are canoes hanging all around the store) to barricade the entrance.

I chose the fortified building, but in many places Wal Mart is the most fortified. It also has a lot of food and supplies, so I might very well head to Wal Mart.
I got a 50% chance. I have never fired a gun, so that brought me down a bit. But honestly answering those questions, I guess I'm not as concerned for my fellow man as I should be. I would tend to take care of myself, and suspect everyone else of being zombies.
As for fortifications, booby traps, and hide and seek, I think I would outlast all ya'll. Just my opinion though. ;)

Don't forget all the people, and therefore potential zombies, you'd have to deal with at Wal Mart. Probably not the best choice.

Assuming I had just found out about the infestation, but it hasn't progressed much yet; I would go to (Super)Walmart, pull the fire alarm to help clear it out. Lock/board up the doors, and then go to the hunting section. After I'm armed to the teeth I'll then go get some kerosene and laundry detergent and make a big batch of napalm to be poured all around the entrances in a slippery manner, so if any zombies manage to get through, I just have to toss a match. Once other preparations are made and I feel secure, I'll go get some chips and redbull and head over to the electronics section to play games.

You seem to forget the possibilities of Wal Mart. There is enough stuff there for you to make your own smaller compound inside the building if necessary. Those who would be looting in Wal Mart during the first 24 hours would most likely include no zombies. During that time, I would head to the lawn and garden section, and using retaining wall bricks and a wheel barrow, construct a makeshift fortress. I would supply this fortress with a variety of weapons and a large amount of food and bottled water. I would also make a point to include the entrance to the restrooms inside my wall. After making a "roof" with some tarp and tent materials, I would settle in for a long wait and threaten to shoot all those who approached my fortress. ;D

I only have a 42% chance of survival, apparently. Not entirely surprising as I am of the school of thought that believes a quick self administered bullet through the brain is better than risking being eaten alive. Nonetheless, this test is depressing.
