Does anyone know the ways in which ESTJs and INTJs get along/don't get along? I just had my friend take a MB test and she got ESTJ. We have TJ in common but other than that I don't know much about interaction between the different types. She is family oriented and loves talking about the lives of people, whereas I could care less. She's also into girly stuff like shopping and weddings (I'm more into philosophy/theory/science), but she's also logical and has pretty creative ideas. Despite our vast differences, we still get along pretty well though.

the only thing that I have is really geared towared relationships and is NT+SJ so it's not specific to INTJ and ESTJ.

My current girlfriend is estj.

She is family oriented and loves talking about the lives of people, whereas I could care less.
True. I see this as an asset to me. It's not like I don't care, more like I'm not naturally interested. But knowing what friends and relatives are up to can be useful, and fun. Usually I just let her talk and throw some comment here and there. Also it's good that she always has this stuff to talk about, because on the contrary I don't have much to say that any girl could appreciate or even understand ._.

She's also into girly stuff like shopping and weddings
My girl is _obsessed_ with celebrations. Birthdays and such. It's like having a human calendar. I'm happy to leave everything in her hands. It was like 15 years since the last time I did anything for my own birthday!

but she's also logical and has pretty creative ideas.
True, true. She's very logical, often more than me because I'm oriented to the theoretical while she lives 100% in current reality.

Despite our vast differences, we still get along pretty well though.
I've been with her 5 months but it's been great for now. No major arguments, she laments that I'm absent (I like to hole up in my room and disappear a few days without answering calls..) but that's all. I'm worried that in the long run she will bore me because of lack of intellectual stimulation but probably it's just speculation and my intp habit of finding faults everywhere.

I've meet two ESTJ personalities, its does falls into these categories. They really do got a great sense of memory, if INTJ's kinda forgot to respond, then they will take the time out and send a reply of some sort. Which is nice, like L30, their like the human calendar. I didn't remember saying that.
