I just caught myself tapping my foot and having a blast singing along to Rick Springfield and "Jessie's Girl". Go me.

Is anyone looking? [smiley=anxious.gif]
Ok...when I'm alone at home I turn up the stereo and put on my fav-o-rite tunes, the ones that I can dance to (disco…ok, STOP LAUGHING :'( ), sing-along to (old-school R&B), or conduct (classical – Mozart, Haydn, Handel, Bach). If I get really into it, I probably look quite manic.

I make especially sure that I have everyone's arrival times coordinated so that I'm not caught in the act (oh the shame!) and can resume my calm, cool, INTJ persona without detection.

That is my guilty pleasure [smiley=anxious.gif]

My biggest guilty pleasure has to be watching Gilmore Girls. It's the girliest thing I do on a semi-regular basis, though now all I have is reruns since it was canceled. *sigh*

I spend way too much time playing Doom-3 in multiplayer deathmatch mode.

I used to watch that show with my cat, Koko. She liked to play Rory. ;D

Most of my guilty pleasures occur deep inside my head. :P

Huh. Funny. My biggest guilty pleasure recently was reading a series of books by Laurell K. Hamilton that began with one titled, "Guilty Pleasures." You know, the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter novels?

They should have been called, Anita Blake, Vampire F***er novels. *LOL!

They are a guilty pleasure, indeed.

I guess its doing things in private I would never do in public, like operatically singing to my dogs, or having oral arguments with myself.

Oh I also love Penguin Cinnamon Candy (I just can't call them mints) I once ate an entire box before class, and was pepped up to hell. I must have looked like a complete ass that day.

I will have to turn you into the police. It is obvious you were spying on me and decided to imitate my behavior.

How, how....how, GREAT of you....to want to have such private fun and never tell anyone in person about it. My kind of guilty pleasure.

Actually, I like chocolate as a guilty pleasure also. This one comes in spurts. Singing to myself and my animals happens a lot....when I'm alone.

Oh, another guilty pleasure, I enjoy a lot of old Elton John songs. Don't throw stones. :P

I believe I have a few guilty pleasures, one being frightenly similar to rwyatt365's Disco Stew action. Just without the disco. Alternative seems to be my wave.

The other would definately have to be getting my car and taking it out to the country back roads where I push it and myself to the very limits of speed and traction through the twisties. The radio is turned off during these runs and the windows slightly cracked, only sounds to be heard are the screaming motor/turbo combo and the traction of AWD being pushed to the edge. Thats my kind of pleasure.

Turning up my amp and guitar way too loud to be good for me and playing along with "Honky Tonk Women" about 20 times through.

Oh, there are too many to list. Currently I have a compelling urge to follow the TV show 'Las Vegas', despite its total silliness and lack of depth.

I like to look at and hold delicate masterwork objects.

I also sometimes read stories involving romance in some way shape or form.

Guilty pleasures that I'm actually guilty about...

- Enjoyment of the late 90's pop stuff (early J-Lo, Britney, Backstreet Boys, N'Sync)
- Chick Flicks (In particular, Serendipity with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale)
- Old Nickelodeon/Disney Shows (Are You Afraid of the Dark especially)

I loved gilmore girls! That was definitely my guilty pleasure (when they had new episodes) and watching reruns saddens me sometimes. They should have had one more season! Now I resort to watching America's Most Smartest Model. I get a kick out of how not smart they are haha.

what is imvu?

My guilty pleasures?? Hmmm. I enjoy quite a bit of 80s metal. Poison, Def Leopard, Motley Crue. To which I often sing along very loudly (I'm tone deaf, btw) and sometimes air guitar. :embarassed:

I love wine and beer.

I read a lot of fantasy, horror and sci-fi. Terry Pratchet, Stephen King, Philip K. Dick, etc.

Oh yeah, and I like watching cops with my brother. Not alone, only with my brother.

I think Gilmore Girls was only good up to where Jes left.
After that, it was just sad...

I do agree, I was devastated when jess left. Milo Ventimiglia is one of my biggest Hollywood crushes. Maybe he is my guilty pleasure.

UGH I KNOW!
I mean... blondy was cute and all. But Jes reads, he's brilliant, AND he's good-looking... Milo definitely owned his arse :p

I love singing. Sometimes when I'm walking alone and I don't realize anyone's around I sing. And when someone catches up to me it's embarassing as hell.

Anyone else like the Office?

OK, don't tell anyone but... I grew up in the NW but spent my first two years of college in the South and ended hearing a lot of rap music because of it. Every so often while I'm driving a familiar song/rap will come on the radio [you know..the kind that if you actually listen to, you hate, but somehow "it has a good beat"...] and next thing I know, I'm poppin and lockin! Poor, poor other drivers... What happens in that car stays in that car...!

I love the Office! Both the US and British versions (but mostly the British version).

Most rap I can't listen to, but once in a blue moon something comes out that just catches my ear. I'll "steal" it from my kids and make a "mix" CD. Then I'll play it while on the freeway to work - that no one's the wiser!

I do the same thing walking or alone in my office, but instead of stopping when i realize I'm being heard I get louder and embellish for a few lines while making it clear that I am aware that I am being observed, then I stop as if I'm done instead of as if I didn't want them to hear. That way even if they make a comment I can laugh/take it in stride.

I usually revert to whistling instead... less likely to go off-key and yet not as awkward/obviously embarrassed as stopping suddenly.
I often whistle when I wash the dishes and other mundane tasks like that... regardless of who is around. I don't know what I'd do without music.

I watched Disney's High School Musicals repeatedly :P Can't wait for HSM3.

I love reading Stephen King at night. His earlier books anyway.
