I just attempted to quote a section of text in a post I just made and for some reason the information didn't transfer as a quote.

I couldn't figure out how to section it off, so I clicked on 'quote' and then deleted the parts I didn't want to quote.

I couldn't figure out how to section it off, so I clicked on 'quote' and then deleted the parts I didn't want to quote.

The code to quote is [QUOTE=anamatria;293544]

then the part you want to quote followed by /quote within a bracket: [ ]

The first part ([QUOTE=anamatria;293544]) will change depending on the post you are quoting. The rest you can enter yourself.

You can also copy and paste what is in the [...] as I have done here.

I couldn't figure out how to section it off, so I clicked on 'quote' and then deleted the parts I didn't want to quote.

Kind of a pain, but it works.
