View Full Version : Custom Avatar (again)

I feel embarrassed asking for help again, but I have another avatar question:

All of the avatars that I have made are saved as JPEG files, but they are still far too many kilobytes (129, for example). Why is this, and how can I fix it? Assistance would be appreciated.

Save the images as GIFs.

The image you gave me was 114x145, it needed to be 115x145, so I fixed that. I saved it as a jpeg and the final size was 14.7 kb.

I wonder if maybe it was just the size? What program do you use? I use IrfanView, which can be downloaded for free from www.download.com.
