How do you set your own avatar?

Let's face it...I want an avatar. Most of you have one, and umm.. even though I am an INTJ, I don't want to be left alone on this one. :laugh: Anyways, I have tried looking at the FAQ section and everything to see if I can learn how to upload one, but I haven't found anything. Do you need a certain number of posts? Help. :)

Go to UserCP, Edit Avatar, and see if you have an upload button at the bottom of the page. If so, then you can have your own avatar. You will then need to make your avatar. The dimensions need to be exactly 115x145, cannot exceed 19 kb (i think it is) for size, and cannot contain borders, text, or transparencies. I use IrfanView to size and convert my photos, you can download it for free from www.download.com. Save your photo as a jpeg because bmp, gif, etc. may be too large and may not upload. Basically, find a picture you like, resize it to 115x145, save as jpeg, go to UserCP then Edit Avatar, and upload!

If there's a photo you want to use, but don't know how to make it the appropriate size, paste it full size in here, send me a comment or PM to let me know you did so, and I'll resize it and everything for you so you can save it as a jpeg on your own computer.
