many like-minded groups hold an annual get together; for instance, my motorcycle forum has a rally at deals gap, nc (has the most turns for any road east of the mississippi) for a week in july or august

how 'bout we plan a get together for us in the not too distant future

maybe some week in august anywhere in the world...

any interest/any suggestions

Yeah huh.
Making me post a picture was already pushing it.
Going to a gathering, espcially one that can possibly be quite big is probably not a typical INTJ's idea of 'fun'.

Just my opinion. [smiley=blank.gif]

I would just feel sorry for employees in the venue selected.

They would just all think we're crazy or something.

I might do it, but it matters on where it is.

Hmmmm, looks like this is getting some momentum.

I'd do Seattle, but only after the winter breaks - so I can drive there (it's not about the destination, it's the journey that counts!).

You speak too soon, Mr. rwyatt365!
Us British (all 4 of us?) require the meeting to be based in the Atlantic, somewhere.

Perhaps if we all state the maximum travel radius we are willing to journey from our residence, and 'draw' these circles on a map, it would show the optimum meeting destination.
Mine is 200 miles. ;D

Okay, I don't know about meeting all of you, but I would love to see one of those 'optimum meeting destination' maps. I wonder where we would end up.

Mine is 3 miles, but I'll extend it to 10 if I can ride the bus without transferring. Sorry, but I'm antisocial, cheap and lazy when it comes to attending events. *:P

Oh I just made up the optimum meeting destination map idea.
However, theoretically it should work as it finds an equilibrium.

Sheez, I thought my 200 miles was a bit weak given the distances Americans often have to travel around their own country, and I didn't want to give the impression I don't care to meet you guys (that's the F coming through), so I stretched 50 miles to 200.... but 3 miles! ;D

Hey MaxT, I'm good for 5-600 miles (excluding nautical travel). I'm a driveaholic so 10 hours "in the saddle" is a day-trip for me. Unfortunately, that does not do any good for over-water travel. *glub-glub*

I'll rock up for Singapore or Darwin. We could all go to an internet cafe and chat to each other via IM or Forums and get drunk doing it.
