Custom Avatar?

I'm not that skilled with computers, but I finally found a picture I wanted to use as an avatar and got it down to 115 x 145 pixels. However, when I try to download it, it keeps telling me a variety of things: invalid file, remote file is too large, etc. Could someone help me?

Make sure the file size is less than 19.5kb. In fact, I found that I sometimes had trouble with file sizes in the 19kb range due to some extra padding it seemed to gain in transfer.

Alternatively you could post your image here and we can take a crack at it.

Is it saved as a jpeg? Other file types such as bmp and gif are larger and may not work.

ok, I have this as a jpeg and the size is 12.8 KB - save it to your computer as a jpeg and see if it works
