Chemists Set New World Record For Shortest Chemical Bond Between Metals

ScienceDaily (Nov. 25, 2007) — Chemists from the University of Delaware, in collaboration with a colleague at the University of Wisconsin, have set a new world record for the shortest chemical bond ever recorded between two metals, in this case, two atoms of chromium.

That book annoys me. I have a friend who did a bike trip in the mid nineties around Australia and he got into the Guinness book of world records.

Every year the subject matter changes and I can never see if he has been beaten.
The website does not show it either, though I have seen it in the book.
